Thank you so very much Sister Connie Keyohara for another wonderful message! We send the love of Jesus to you and yours!

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Proverbs 3:5&6

What are year 2020 has been. We have seen so many things take place, that bring unrest to our souls.

When you’re in the midst of this type of storm, it is very hard to put your trust in God. But this is the crucial moment that we must.

If you watch the evening news or get on any type of social media, you are bombarded with a daily reminder of how bad things really are.

When we’re living in a horror movie, so-to-speak. It is very hard to trust the Lord.  But is our responsibility to put our trust in God, at all times.

At these crucial moments, we definitely do not want to put our trust in man, we want to make sure that we are right with the King. This will be the only way that we can make it through this tough time.

I found that as we face these tough times, all that we’ve done up to this point, really does matter. As far as a spiritual aspect of it anyway.

Every Bible study, every Sunday morning sermon, our communion with the Lord, our fellowship with other believers, and our time in prayer…Was for such a time as this!

We were in a Boot Camp of sorts. Training for battle, getting ready for the attacks from the enemy. Etc.

It is especially hard when you hear other believers running with so much fear, doubt and unbelief.

And they may even come against you because you don’t agree with them.

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”; and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” Therefore let no one boast in men.

1 Corinthians 3:19-21

But, we do not speak for other believers or other people and we only answer to God for ourselves.

So, we should get our minds off other people, what they are doing or not doing, what they believe or don’t believe and how they’re acting or not acting. This is about us!

No virus or other illness will touch us unless God has given it permission too.

Unless God has appointed it to do so, nothing can touch us.

If we are washing of our hands, social distancing, using sanitizer, wearing a mask, being careful and we still catch a virus, it’s not because those practices are fool-proof, but because God has allowed it.

So, being careful and being smart about it. Being mindful of others who are susceptible to illnesses is absolutely, positively important. But living in fear, is not OK!

When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid…

Psalm 56:3-4

And of course, we are not talking only about a virus, but in any aspect of our life.

It could be a pending divorce, financial trouble, a child who’s gone astray.

It could be health issues, job troubles or any number of other things.

Trusting in the Lord, is the goal for all people, in all walks of life and  for every situation.

Don’t live in so much crippling fear that you forget to enjoy life, you miss out on special events or let life pass you by.

“We need to bring our emotions underneath the jurisdiction of God’s character and God’s purposes.”

-A Begg

My prayer for you today, is that you’ll trust in the Lord, with all your heart❤️

Many blessings,
