Who Will You Meet In The Church Lobby Today?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Rest assured if you are journeying with Jesus, he is standing with you. He sees your heart. We may not always get everything right, but if our heart is towards him, that’s what makes him pleased.
God is looking for people that need a Savior, in need of a new beginning. I love how he takes people that the world would reject and does amazing things through their lives. If you are at the back of the line today, no worries, he is standing with you. He knows right where you are at. His Word tells us in Matthew 19:30 many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.
At a meeting I was at years ago, a pastor’s wife spoke those words of Matthew 19:30 to me. She was a total stranger in a town I could barely find my way to. She said you know what it is to be the least and because you have been the least and willing to be the least, God has put greatness in you. She went on to say within a few weeks something was going to happen for me. She said I see that you write prophetically. I had no idea what she was talking about at that point, but filed it in the recesses of my mind.
At first I thought the woman was a bit odd, but something quickened inside me when she spoke to me. She was right as I heard God’s call to ministry and to write.
This all happened when I was waiting in line in a church lobby, all by myself, for a meeting I wanted to attend on prayer, dreams, and visions. Isn’t God good?
Let us Pray:
Father, thank you for your love for mankind. Thank you that you look at the heart. Your watchful eye sees where everyone is at today. There is nothing that escapes your watchful eye.
Father, for the one that longs to know you more, maybe they too are in a line all alone, may they sense your closeness. Father, for the person that feels that they could never measure up and will always be at the end of the line, thank you for making every crooked path straight in their lives. They are on their way to the front of the line.
Father, across this globe today, may many believe on you and be saved. Father, for the people that feel they are the least, thank you for the greatness you have placed within them, according to your Word. Show them great and mighty things, as you are no respecter of persons. To you be all the glory for great things you have done and are doing on the earth today. Amen.
