Heat Wave Hits Much of America, Drought Conditions Worsen in New Mexico

Here in New Mexico we have drought conditions that very from very severe to bad. We are in dire need of rain. U.S. Drought Monitor  Please pray with us for rain, Team Jesus! Please dot not burn anything outside. In the last 2 weeks two people at the Smiths Grocery we shop at have left their dogs in the car with the windows up and doors locked!!!! Both times, thank the LORD, the dogs were saved!!!

KDAZ-am&fm-KCHF-TV News Director Frank Haley Reports: 

Health officials are warning people across New Mexico to be mindful of heat-related illness as the state prepares for a few days of triple digit temperatures.
The Health Department on Tuesday issued an alert, saying the extreme heat is expected to last through the weekend in most of the state. Officials recommend avoiding outdoor activities between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. during the next few days.
DO NOT leave children or pets in hot cars.
The symptoms of heat stress can include dizziness, nausea, cramping and weakness and can progress to heat stroke and death if left unchecked.

Hot weather causing dozens of roads to buckle in Illinois, Wisconsin
A heat wave that’s gripped the Midwest for days and will only grow more intense by next week is taking its toll on roads across the region.
