I wanted to share this with you all so that your can see and hear what the Governor shared with the Post. I am so sadden what is happening to our state. I want you to hear what she told reporter Jonathan Capehart:

Cape Up Live with New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham

House Republicans rally support for restaurant owners and employees targeted by Governor’s mandates

Santa Fe, NM – House Republicans today sent a letter to Governor Lujan Grisham announcing their support for the thousands of New Mexicans and local businesses that will be adversely affected by Governor Lujan Grisham’s health recently issued health order. It has been reported that over 200 restaurants have permanently closed due to the forced economic shutdown, with thousands of employees left without a job. The Governor’s recent order, singling out one industry, will undoubtedly increase the economic hardship facing New Mexicans.

“This Governor is very well known for bringing a chair to the White House when she felt she needed a seat at the table- what I want to know is why were small business owners not seated at the Governor’s table when she decided to punish New Mexico restaurants and their employees?” said House Republican Leader Jim Townsend, pictured at the very top. “The unfairness of this administration and their arbitrary decision making will forever change New Mexico.”

Instead of focusing on the many issues at hand like civil unrest and risky protesting, skyrocketing mental health concerns, unemployment and domestic violence, the administration has made it their mission to target small business owners while blaming New Mexicans for an uptick in cases. New Mexico businesses, especially restaurants have bent over backwards to meet public safety standards- often going above and beyond to ensure their customers feel comfortable.

“The Governor has lost all credibility on this issue,” said House Republican Whip Rod Montoya, pictured in this post. “It is a dereliction of duty for the Governor to punish restaurant owners simply because of the perceived inaction of others.”

Violence is increasing in Albuquerque….Satan is having his way with many in the city. I hardly can type this. My heat is broken for our city.  Every life is so very precious to God. Sometimes I think we forget that. Just think of all the babies that have been killed here in Albuquerque this month through abortion. Think about that! Albuquerque is a very sinful city.

Please pray for the safety of all, I cannot even imagine the stress our police officers are under.

Las Cruces Walmart’s Instant Reopening is Latest Sign of State’s Preferential Treatment Of Corporate Giants Over New Mexico Small Businesses

Albuquerque July 13—The quick reopening of a Las Cruces Walmart this past weekend again demonstrates the Lujan Grisham Administration’s blatant favoritism of corporate out-of-state giants over our mom-and-pop businesses.

Four people at the Walmart had tested positive for COVID-19. On Saturday morning, after the big-box store was asked to close, it remained open until 6pm. Then third-party cleaning experts were called in to “further clean and sanitize’ the Walmart.

Hours later the “cleaned” store is reopened Sunday morning.

So what’s going on here? Gov. Lujan Grisham’s Administration says it’s okay to contract COVID-19 and then go back inside a business where people had tested positive?

How do you wipe down an entire Walmart in a few hours?
Did Walmart toss out its entire inventory?
And these outside cleaners—might they have tested positive for the virus?

This is just the latest example of these corporate heavy-hitters—continuing to grab New Mexico dollars—getting special treatment by the State.

“Gov. Lujan Grisham will do anything to protect big-box stores while she kills the little guy–New Mexico’s small businesses,” said Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce. “To allow Walmart to reopen like this is not only irresponsible but also discriminatory. The governor lets this Walmart return to business after this ‘miraculous cleaning’ but keeps our dying restaurants closed where social distancing can be practiced. These actions defy logic, and the governor continues to punish New Mexicans by her inequitable and unjust decisions.”

“America has forgotten its heritage,” Marcus Lamb said. “We need a revival, but one of the heart. For that to happen, America must first return to Christ as Lord with every fiber of her being—where Christ alone is the apex and biblical standard in all things spiritual, political, as moral, and religious within the Judeo-Christian family. While we understand that our founding fathers believed, although not all of them were Christians, that there was a Creator-God, and that he gave us certain inalienable rights, freedoms and liberties—some have taken them for granted, and now, we are losing those freedoms at an alarming rate.”
The American church must lead the people of God in repentance and revival if they hope to recover their constitutional freedoms, Marcus Lamb says.

I struggled to post this because it is so very disgusting and satanic! Why even post this? To show that Satan is active in the lives of many. To show the Church how important it is to carry out the Great Commission. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19.KOB TV REPORT We are failing our children by leaving them such a messed up world.

Satanic activity is spreading across America! Our children are at such high risk.

Adrian Rogers describes the problem of many Christians in America:

James 1:23-24 paints a picture of a man in a hurry. He has a lot on his mind. He takes a casual glance at himself and rushes on. If the Bible is like a mirror, then this man is simply getting a glimpse into the Word and not really applying it to his life.

Most Christians I know today are this kind of Bible student. They are like a gnat, bouncing here and there instead of like a bee, diving in and staying long enough to extract the sweetness.

But the man in verse 25 gazes into the Word. This is someone who delights in God’s Word, applies God’s Word, and cherishes God’s Word.  Are you like that? Or do you take a passing glance at God’s Word and move on to the next thing on your TO DO list?

Why is the World full of evil?

“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts” Eph 4: 17, 18.

The Scriptures call the mind of the natural man “blinded” 2 Cor. 4:4, “depraved” Romans 1:28, “corrupt” 1 Tim. 6:5, and “unspiritual” Col. 2:18. The natural mind thinks from a humanistic, sin-debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs its thoughts. The sinful mind is under the control of Satan and can never please God because it concentrates on things of the world and not things of the Spirit. The natural mind walks the road of hopelessness and self-destruction.

D.A. Carson assessed our situation well when he described how “people do not drift toward holiness. Apart from grace-driven effort, people do not gravitate toward godliness, prayer, obedience to Scripture, faith, and delight in the Lord. We drift toward compromise and call it tolerance; we drift toward disobedience and call it freedom; we drift toward superstition and call it faith. We cherish the indiscipline of lost self-control and call it relaxation; we slouch toward prayerlessness and delude ourselves into thinking we have escaped legalism; we slide toward godlessness and convince ourselves we have been liberated.”

From Ryan Denison:

In our culture, it can be easy at times to feel isolated in our faith or to question its legitimacy in light of current social trends and accusations of irrelevance (or worse). While the truth is not based on how many people have done something or for how long, it’s reassuring to know that, when we worship, we also join a legacy of believers that extends so far into our collective past.

The same God who was worthy of worship sixteen hundred years ago is still worthy of our worship today.

Second, the Church of the Apostles reminds us that persecution will come, but our faith is built on something that goes far beyond whatever challenges it might face.

Around ninety years before Bishop Willibald would have passed by the church, this region of the Holy Land fell to the Muslims as they expanded north. While the building was apparently left standing, any who worshiped in it did so under very different conditions from when it was founded.

Our faith is not new. It predates any challenges from those who would like to discount it and has stood strong against attacks from governments, opposing religions, societal movements, and popular opinion long enough for us to take comfort in the fact that it will survive whatever current generations can throw at it.

While our history gives ample examples of how we have not always navigated those battles well, God has protected his church and will continue to do so.

Third, the Church of the Apostles was built because the men over whose home it was established were faithful to the calling they received from their Lord.

Peter, Andrew, and the others among that first generation of believers recognized Jesus as humanity’s only hope for salvation. They took that message forth into the world around them with courage and conviction. We can read about their stories and study their methods, but, if we don’t follow their example, then our churches will one day resemble the ruins that were recently discovered.

Our mission—then and now

Our culture is no more lost than that of ancient Rome. It is no more immoral either. And the challenges it poses are no greater than those overcome by those first generations of believers.

That doesn’t mean our mission will be easy, but Christ didn’t promise ease. Rather, when he challenged his earliest believers to go and make disciples of all nations, the only thing he guaranteed was that he would always be with them (Matthew 28:16–20).

And that was enough.

The Church of the Apostles is relevant today because our faith is relevant, and our mission has remained unchanged from that of the earliest believers.

How will you continue their legacy?

From the writings of Billy Graham…..

There are two roads of life, the world’s path and God’s path. Imagine a very wide road with people all walking in the same direction. In the center of that road is a narrow path that goes in the opposite direction — it can be a lonely road — but it’s the right road.

Jesus plainly pointed out these two roads. One is broad, lacking faith, convictions, morals and obedience to God. It’s the easy, popular, careless way. It is heavily traveled, but it leads to destruction. The other road is narrow and unpopular. This is why Jesus said, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:13-14).

People who follow the broad path are shallow. The path they choose is riddled with compromise. The narrow road means to stand strong for Christ. It is not always easy, but it is right and blessed by God.

When we find ourselves standing at a crossroads, we gaze into the faces of those living for popularity and self-pleasure. That road leads to Hell. Consider the journey and choose the way of the Lord — the narrow path. Jesus is there and He is the way that leads to Heaven.

The work that Christ does in our lives is transforming. He does not do a superficial work. When doctors prescribe medication, its purpose is to begin healing the diseased organs and tissue deep inside of us. When Christ grants salvation, He begins a lifetime work inwardly that comes to the surface. This is why Jesus said, “I am the way” (John 14:6).

I asked Ethel Maharg, pictured above, who is the Executive Director of Right to Life Committee of NM to update us on the abortion issue here in New Mexico and what we can expect in the upcoming 2020 Legislature session. We must pray, seek wisdom, plan and take part in the movement to defeat abortion in New Mexico. Thank you for keeping is informed Ethel! God Bless you for all you do for God’s babies!

Let’s Roll

On September 11, 2001 the crew of Flight 93 made a courageous move to fight terrorists on their plane. The plane was headed to our nation’s congress. They made a decision, then said those two infamous words “Let’s Roll” then paid the ultimate sacrifice with their lives as they crashed the plane instead of allowing it to hit its intended target.

What does this have to do with 2020? Everything. Our Governor is trying to steer the Life plane in the wrong direction and we like the passengers and crew have made the decision that we will fight this fight with everything we have.

The 2020 legislative session is supposed to be a budget session, yet the Governor has pledged to bring up the abortion issue again. She was angered that although she exerted great pressure on Senators, they did not acquiesce to her demands. She is determined to pass a pro-abortion bill and is working to replace anyone who will not do her bidding.

We are working to build chapters throughout the entire state. We have 33 counties and only have 11 active chapters. It is imperative that the entire state engages in this battle. To do this we are asking people to participate in their local chapter, and if they do not have one, consider starting one.

We are also circulating petitions in support of our current abortion law that will go into effect when Roe vs. Wade is overturned. If you can help in this effort, please call us, as it is a huge undertaking.

As you know 8 Democrat Senators voted with us to defeat HB 51 and because of this they are now the target of the Governor and those in the Progressive movement. It took courage for them to stand with us because they knew it came at a price. We are now determined to stand with them. We cannot allow what amounts to censorship to take place in our state. These Senators have free will and the right to vote their convictions and those of their constituents. We will be doing all we can to see to it that they are not unseated in the 2020 election because they stood for life.

Lastly we are searching for candidates who support life to run for public office in 2020. We need people of good character who love our state and will do what it takes to make it a better place to live.  Let’s not forget our local school board elections. The time to run for these positions is now with an August 27th deadline. These are some of the most important positions to hold as they affect our children’s future.

Like 911 we can never forget that over 4400 babies, one every 22 seconds die by legal abortion in the United States and we must fight until the tide turns and life is once again respected. We must not let this Life plane get to the destination the Governor and Progressives want it to get to. Make no mistake, like those on flight 93 it will cost us something, but the price we pay is worth paying.

Let’s Roll
