Cumulus Radio Broadcasting Shuts Down Entire News Department

This disturbs me to no end! News departments are disappearing across the nation. Radio is not the radio I grew up in and have served for 42 years now. I still do radio programming, ‘House of Hope’ which is heard in parts of sw Minnesota, eastern South Dakota and northern Iowa. I started as a news reporter in 1978 at the Minnesota State News Network. I know Journalism! I hear not much of it anymore! America is filled with bad radio, they have made it politically driven. Many report rumors and their own opinions as fact! I do not listen to radio at all in Albuquerque, cannot stand it! God has made this little ministry here at FGGAM the only 24 hour Christian news in Albuquerque. No Christian TV or radio station in New Mexico mans its news department like FGGAM, 7 days a week. The only Christian station, TV or radio that has a news person is KDAZ-am&fm-KCHF-tv with my dear brother in Christ Frank Haley who is heard weekday mornings. There are still radio stations in the heartland of America that have a full-time news person. Yesterday I made some calls into TV and newspaper news departments, and only got to talk to one live person, THE REST WAS VOICE MAIL! What happened to full service radio and TV? This is one of the reasons for the “dumbing down of America” Plus the fact as I mentioned, political driven media, NOT FACT-NON PARTISAN REPORTING!

CORPORATE RADIO WAS SO VERY BAD FOR RADIO!

We have created a society that is driven by politics not God. There are so many bad so called news sources on Facebook, people share fake news.

FGGAM is here to bring you the news from a Biblical Worldview 24/7.

In a letter to affiliates Thursday evening, Cumulus notified all Westwood One News affiliates the service will be shutting down August 30. Get all the details now at www.radioink.com.

As New Mexicans fight about wearing a mask and Public Health orders, we are killing our own. The state is going to hell in many ways. Satan is having a Demonic harvest. Do I need to remind you that here in New Mexico we are still killing God’s babies? Now a young girl and man have lost their lives because of Satanic acts. Christian leaders need to call it the way it is! Where is the fruit Church? My Dad, Wally Moede WW II U.S. Marine SGT. taught me to take responsibility! Christian leaders in this state must take responsibility for the Satanic strong hold in this state and carry out The Great Commission. ME INCLUDED! Stop looking at things through rose colored glasses!

Whatever happened to preaching Heaven and Hell? The Great Commission? The Ten Commandments?

I have come to comfort the inflicted and inflict the comfortable.

I am worn down today…..I am up around 3am everyday, including Sundays reporting the news. When God calls you, you must answer His call, not yours. We are just a simple ministry operating out of our house. First thing I do is pray…seek the Lord and what to report……what words to use……I pray that more and more people see what is happening to us…….

These are very troubled times in our Country…it goes deeper than COVID-19……so much hate and anger. I watched Governor Lujan Grisham’s press conference yesterday on Facebook. So many made what we once called ‘dirty comments’ to what the Governor was saying, very mean. What does that solve? This is the deeper problem I am talking about. We will never be the Country God intended us to be if the hate and anger continues, it is simple as that. Look at Washington D.C. it is a mess from the top down. So much hate and anger comes out of the mouths of our leaders. How do you think children and young adults are affected by this mess we have made? My heart breaks for my kids, that is my biggest concern out of all this, the world they are growing up in as the adults destroy it it. We are all responsible for this mess in America. We are such a dysfunctional Country and this dysfunction knows no party lines. I will tell you this, it is only going to get worse in America now and in the coming days because of the disease called HATE. COVID-19 is very serious, but HATE is the deeper disease. If you think hate solves anything, what Bible are you reading? Hate just brings more hate. Look at what we have become.

“Difficulties are things that show a person what they are.” EPICTETUS

Bad behaving Christians are sowing the world just what they want to see. Yesterday I had a man ‘bark’ at me…..I answered him back in love. If you think your posts on Facebook/twitter of hate are doing any good you are a fool. Read your Bible and see what it says about fools. Proverbs 23:9: Do not speak to fools, for they will scorn your prudent words.

28-year-old Patrick Goff was attacked and beaten to death on the streets of Albuquerque the other day, he worked at Smiths Grocery. Albuquerque is such a very violent city, Satan is having a demonic harvest. Did the world take note? I am very distressed at this news, are you? This is the hate that seems to have taken root now in most of America. Family of a man beaten to death searching for suspects

Pastor Steve Stucker started a fund drive for the family. Compassion for Patrick Goff Fund

I am also very concerned that so many Pastors have been silent during this time. The Church needs to carry out The Great Commission and get out of their buildings, this is what we do at FGGAM everyday…..the streets, the phone, website, radio, a lot of social media, newspaper, preaching in Reserve, visiting people before and after Church in the community. Much of the Church is preaching to the choir, we must reach the lost, as Satan is having is way with so very many in America. Many Churches are baptizing very few, if any. When you are called by God to be a Pastor, it is a great responsibility to reach the lost and carry out The Great Commission.

I am not a popular Pastor, I am not part of what is called ‘the Pastors elite group’. I am not part of a political party. I am a registered Independent, Both parties, are parties of hate. I know that a huge part of the Churches problem is what the late, great Chuck Colson said years ago, “The Church has turned into a high school pep rally.” Too much Hollywood and not enough heaven and hell.

I am called by the Lord to comfort the inflicted and inflict the comfortable.

Dr. Jim Denison: Just 21% of America GOES TO CHURCH EVERY SUNDAY

I am sad this morning as the Lord has shown me much about His bride, that makes me weep.

Hate and more hate in America….We are losing our Country, brick by brick….Satan is having a demonic harvest.

My new friend Alex Hannaweeke! What a wonderful man of God! I did not know I would meet him today but God had a plan! God said go down the road and have breakfast as you wait for Daisy who was getting a check up at the Vet. I heard the radio of the bakery delivery van with Christian programming on! I asked him if he is a Christian and he said yes and he poured out his heart to me and how important carrying out The Great Commission is at this time! Just as I have been pleading in my postings, radio program “House of Hope” and my sermons! I have preached on the Great Commission so very much since 2009, I will preach it UNTIL EVERYONE GETS IT! Alex is so on fire with the love of Jesus! Alex is the future of our Country and a Church! PTL!

Get out of your comfort zone, get out of your house or Church and fulfill The Great Commission, it is a command not a suggestion. Don’t preach to the choir so much!!!!! Get out in the streets!!! Here at FGGAM we use our website, all sorts of social media, radio, newspaper, preaching, and driving the roads of New Mexico! This command is not just for Pastors it is for YOU! I know two Albuquerque businessmen that carry out The Great Commission every noon hour by going down to the Circle-K by their office and share JESUS! WHAT IS STOPPING YOU????? DO IT IN THE LOVE OF JESUS! NO JUDGEMENT OR HATE ALLOWED!!!

GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE!! GET YOUR HANDS AND SHOES DIRTY FOR JESUS!

Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19

The Great Commission
18Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”…

From Dr. Jim Denison:

Whose job is evangelism?

This week, we’ve been claiming the promise of Psalm 33:12: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.” We’ve seen that when we make God our Lord and King, serve him in solidarity with others and in personal obedience, and seek the help only he can provide, we experience his best.

Let’s close by answering our Father’s call to pay forward the blessing and grace he offers us.

In an article I wrote this week for the Stream, I noted a recent study indicating that only one in ten churchgoers average at least one evangelistic conversation a month. More than half of those who attend church at least once a month said they had not shared their faith with anyone in the last six months.

Barna reports that almost half of practicing Christian millennials say evangelism is wrong. Many Christians believe that evangelism is the job of the local church rather than their personal responsibility.

But if people like Don Lemon are not attending anyone’s church, how can the church reach them?

“Be known unto all the nations”

You and I will spend eternity in heaven because someone shared the word and grace of God with us. Now we can be containers of God’s blessing, or we can be conduits to others.

Ask the Lord to put a Don Lemon on your heart today. Begin praying for that person by name. Ask the Holy Spirit to bring people into their life who can share the gospel with them effectively. Then volunteer to be the answer to your prayer (Isaiah 6:8–9; Matthew 9:38–10:1).

In his Confessions, St. Augustine wrote: “Run to and fro everywhere, holy fires, beautiful fires; for you are the light of the world, nor are you put under a bushel. He whom you cleave unto is exalted and has exalted you. Run to and fro and be known unto all the nations.”

Where will you begin today?

Love this post from Pastor Don Kimbro!

“The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields” (Matthew 9:37-38).

I have been a pastor for more than forty years. In the process I have started churches, led existing churches, mentored new believers and pastors, shared the gospel on the mission field, taught Arabs in Israel, worked for a well-known parachurch ministry to prisons and have started several new ministries, including one as a chaplain to auto racers. Zoom. Zoom.

But there’s one thing I have learned that stands out above everything else and that is that the ministry of the church is first and foremost to proclaim, teach, preach and share the gospel wherever we are and wherever we go to every person who will listen.

I don’t believe there are any exemptions to this calling. It is not the sole domain of the offices of the church, the apostles, prophets, evangelists or pastors and teachers (Ephesians 4:11-12). It doesn’t make any difference whether you are male or female, young or old, rich or poor, professional or blue collar, sophisticated or otherwise, a new believer or old salt, married or single, retired or just beginning your career. If you are a true believer and follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s calling on your life is to spread the good news about what Jesus did for you through his death, burial and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:1-11).

These final instructions were on the heart of our Savior as he met with his disciples during the forty days he was on the earth between his resurrection and ascension into heaven. His mandate to them was what we call the Great Commission or evangelism, which is winning the lost by preaching the gospel. The specific directions consisted of five different statements Jesus made in this regard and which he commanded his disciples to inaugurate after his departure. And they did. Aren’t we glad!

Here are those five statements Jesus gave to his followers, first in Jerusalem, then in Galilee and finally at the Mount of Olives. I call them the Message, the Model, the Magnitude, the Method and the Means.*

The Message
And he said, “Yes, it was written long ago that the Messiah would suffer and die and rise from the dead on the third day. It was also written that this message would be proclaimed in the authority of his name to all the nations, beginning in Jerusalem: ‘There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent.’ You are witnesses of all these things. — Luke 24:46-48

Notice the emphasis on repentance and forgiveness of sins and proclaiming that message to all nations.

The Model
So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent me, I also send you.” And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.” — John 20:21-23

Notice the emphasis on sending out the disciples and receiving the Holy Spirit and to teach God’s forgiveness and judgment.

The Magnitude
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
— Mark 16:15-18

Notice the emphasis on going into all the world and preaching to everyone and the signs that would follow those who believed.

The Method
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. — Matthew 28:18-20

Notice the emphasis on going to all nations, baptizing and making disciples by teaching them his commandments.

The Means
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. — Acts 1:8-9

Notice the emphasis on receiving the power of the Holy Spirit to witness and then going to the end of the earth to do it.

Every true believer and every church that exists is commissioned to follow in the footsteps of these first disciples. We have been given our instructions. How are we doing? Maranatha!
