Believe In The Double Blessing, The Overflow…
I waited this morning, quietly before the Lord. The word that kept coming to me was double. God did tell us in his Word he would give us back double. Jesus looks at the heart and examines it accordingly. He is a God of double portion, double blessing.
Today, let’s thank him for returning double to us according to his Word. 2020 double, double. Declare double blessing.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you that we can dwell in the secret place. (Psalm 91) Father, you tell us to be still and know that you are God. You will be exalted among the nations, you will be exalted in the earth. (Psalm 46:10). Father, we exalt you today. You are our greatest treasure. Be God over our lives, everything we own, will ever own, our desires and everything that pertains to us, we pray.
Father, Isaiah 61 your Word tells us instead of our shame we will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace we will rejoice in our inheritance. And so we will inherit a double portion in our land, and everlasting joy will be ours. “For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and wrong doing. In my faithfulness, I will reward your people and make an everlasting covenant with them. Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the Lord has blessed. (Isaiah 61:7-9)
Father, thank you for the double blessing. Amen.
