The Tenderness Of Our God…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I am thankful that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. I am thankful that he is a tender, loving Father. Luke 6:36 tells us to be merciful, just as our Father is merciful.

I remember this morning a meeting a friend and I attended of Oprah Winfrey interviewing Bishop T.D. Jakes on a fatherless generation in Dallas, Texas. I remember thanking God for being a Father to the fatherless. Psalm 68:5 tells us he is a father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.

So many folks have the wrong impression of God our Father. They believe he is mean, angry, ready to punish, strict, almost abusive. That’s not the case at all. He loves us, he died for us when we were yet sinners. (John 3:16)

Today, I wanted to pray for all the people across this globe that has the wrong idea of who God is. Maybe you had a mean abusive father, he didn’t reflect God the Father well to you. Maybe your father was absent. Maybe you don’t even know who your father is, maybe you do but wish you didn’t. Whatever the impression you have of what a father looks like, know God is the best Father you will ever have. There is no one like our Heavenly Father. Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you that you died for us while we were yet sinners. Romans 5:8 tells us that God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Father, thank you that your mercies are new every morning, great is your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:23)

Father, thank you for being a Father to the fatherless. Father, thank you for healing your people that have the wrong impression of who our Good Father really is. Thank you for your love for all mankind. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Draw close to God and he will draw close to you. (James 4:8)

Because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven. Luke 1:78
