The Hope Of Tomorrow…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Even during this dark time in our world, the light of Jesus shines through. Jesus went through a dark night of his own. He even cried tears of blood in the garden of Gethsemane. On the cross, about three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani, which means My God, My God, why have you forsaken me? (Matthew 27:46)

I know there has been times in my life when I thought God didn’t see my situation, he had abandoned me. I remember the three o’clock prayer meetings on Saturday’s as we poured out our hearts before him with weeping looking for answers.

Maybe you too are going through a dark night, a difficult time. Maybe you don’t think God has heard your prayer, but he has. He said he will never leave you nor forsake you. You must believe this. (Deuteronomy 31:6)

At the cross when Jesus gave up his spirit, he said it is finished. It was paid in full, done, completed, once and for all, it’s over. It was the ultimate sacrifice for our sin. If you feel he could never forgive you, he can, he already has.

Today, know these two things. No matter how dark it looks in your life, God will not forsake you and your sins are paid in full. He and he alone is the only one that can take all sin and make it as white as snow, if we ask and receive.

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you that you rebuild lives. Psalm 9:10 tells us those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 20:7  tells us some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
Psalm 31:14 I trust in you, Lord; I say, You are my God.

Father, we thank you for the finished work of the cross. Thank you because you died and arose again we can face every tomorrow, for you are with us. Amen

Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Put all your hope in Jesus and he will see you through even the dark.
