Welcome Home…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Most folks are dining inside their homes now due to this coronavirus that has plagued our world. As I sit at my dining room table this morning, I am reminded of a favorite song of my mother’s. I have been told, Come Home It’s Supper Time was her all time favorite. For some reason it’s on my heart heavy this morning. Although my time was limited with her, I will never forget the precious memories I do have and what others shared with me about this incredible woman.
If you have been away from God, it’s time to come home. If you don’t know Jesus, your invited today. His love for you is beyond anything and everything you will ever know or have ever experienced. Someday, we all will be called to meet our master, and only he knows the day and hour.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for mercy and grace. Thank you for the price you paid that we are set free. Father, thank you for drawing people to yourself today. While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples. When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice. For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners. (Matthew 9:10-13)
Father, thank you that our days are in your hands. You know every breath we will take from the day we were conceived until the day we return to be with you. Thank you for long life. Thank you that your Word is life to our bones.
May many come home today all across this globe, returning to their first love. Amen
