Good morning fellow Believers!
This is the time! And Welcome to Today’s Devotion to God’s Holy Word, by Hope in Today Ministries! Hi, I am Karen Rowe and this is my true repentance. It is time for the laughter to stop about the toilet paper; and get serious about what is really going on.
37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

This is an important message to us who believe! There is a time, such as now, that the body of the believers are to respond to an aching world by the Compassion of Christ demonstrated in the power of the Holy Spirit.
The message is quite simple, We are to pray for many things, but now, we are to pray to the Lord of the Harvest that the Lord of the Harvest raise up the workers of the Harvest!
First off, thank you for being here! If it weren’t for you, I would have no one to write to, but because God has positioned us here together, He can do more work in the Midst of us who believe! And to God be the glory! And, Thank you Jesus!
Will you agree with me on this prayer?
Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
Based on the Word of God, let’s begin in the Word of God as we transition to the Devotion the Lord put on my heart to write for us today in this message that is 1st of all to the Church. The Body of Believers In Christ Jesus, Savior and Lord. May we plant seeds and water … it is God who gives the increase!
And, this is the Purpose of the Lord:
And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
Compassion is God’s Method and the Holy Spirit is our Guide.
… filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

This is the time!
Acts 4
. 29And now, Lord, consider their threats, and enable Your servants to speak Your word with complete boldness, 30as You stretch out Your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of Your holy servant Jesus.”
31After they had prayed, their meeting place was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

Pray And Faith.
I always remember Rob’s mom saying in the aftermath of the derecho, when we could finally get out, and found a place with gas, there were only 2 loaves of bread. I only took one, because I figured someone else might need a loaf of bread too. And she was grateful for her loaf of bread. She said we can make due with one.
I heard Rebecca tell her experience last night … there was a limit on OJ of 2. The man in front of her needed 4 [diabetic] &(his normal amount for his purchase). Rebecca didn’t need OJ and he did; she bought his other 2 for him.
It’s when panic / fear sets in [and I get it, I wonder], but remember faith. …(fear is worse than the thing). It’s fear and panic to overstock that shelves get empty for those who only need one.
If you did…(No condemnation here), it’s my faith God will show you someone who will need something you have one day, so that you get that opportunity again to share with another.
This is to encourage Prayer for the Lord to raise up the workers … “This too shall pass” is a statement we have to live & love by & this virus will pass too; yet, how we treat each other during the event is the most important.
To me, Rob’s mom & Rebecca reflected the love / compassion of Jesus.
God is our Source in all things, Faith pleases God when we believe & also love those God puts in our path to help. ACTS 2, 4, and 5; & 1 Thess 5 tells a story of when they shared everything they had and together they worshiped the Lord Jesus The Christ, and there was no needy person among them…and those who were being added to the believers were daily. Love God and love others & We have obeyed the 1st & 2nd commands to love … And God does answer prayers. He can make this virus pass by [pray In Jesus Name]. He can heal the sick and brokenhearted in Jesus Name. He can raise the dead to life in Christ!
Perfect love drives our fear.
Jesus said do not let your heart be troubled…if you are worried or feel anxious, read God’s word with Him, let the Spirit of the Living God soothe your soul.
It may be a dark place for you right now, but YES! There is Hope & Jesus is the true and living Hope!
In Closing of today’s Devotion,
In this world, it may be a dark place for you right now, but YES! There is Hope & Jesus is the true and living light; it’s when we love and have compassion we see His light shine. Be like Jesus and let your light shine.
You may need the Light? I hope this is a light to your knowledge to know and believe in the love God has for you!
You may be the light of Hope in Jesus that someone needs to see His Light thru your compassion in Jesus Today.
The Bible says the Harvest is plentiful & the workers are few. Let’s add to those numbers daily; and in Christ, let’s pray to the Lord of the Harvest to raise up the workers Today.

In closing always …
Faith pleases God. And it is impossible please God without faith.
BUT LET a man EXAMINE himself, AND SO LET him eat OF THAT bread, and drink OF THAT cup.
