We are so very blessed to have this message from Sister Connie Keyohara today! Thank you Connie for this encouraging message!

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19

We’re all facing uncertain times, so Let’s dig into Scripture to find help.

In Genesis he’s Jehovah Jireh, meaning “the Lord will provide.”

“So Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.”

Genesis 22:14

Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one single hour to your life?

Matthew 6:26&27

Sometimes, Anxiety can show a lack of trust in God. It shows that we don’t think our Father knows our needs.

Anxiety shows that we trust in worldly things and not in God 100%.

So, try not to be anxious because the world has nothing eternal to offer you. But God  has eternity in mind for you.

Plus, God knows your needs before you ever do, and he’s already prepared.

We all suffer from anxiety from time-to- time, but staying there and camping out there is not good. Don’t plant roots there. It’s to hard to move away from that.

My goal here is to encourage you to not worry about these tough times we’re facing.

Be prepared, safe, careful and then pray.

And then pray again. Seeking God in all these matters.

As we’ve seen with recent events, we will see hardships in our lives, it is crucial for our spiritual health and growth that we keep trusting God.

I’ve heard this saying before concerning fellow believers, and it is very true: “Worry is not our friend, and panic is not our way.”

“If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small”

Proverbs 24:10

God’s people have always been a waiting people. And we should be led by faith and not fear, as we wait.

You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.

Psalm 91:5&6

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:9

Although it is common to worry when hard times hit, it’s not normal to stay down in that pit.

In Hebrews we’re told that God is The Author and Perfecter of our faith.

He is also the Way Maker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper and the Light in the darkness.

He walks on water and He hung the moon.

He’s either Lord of all or he’s not Lord at all.

So, let us pitch our tent in the land of hope.

???? Because He lives, I can face tomorrow

Because He lives, all fear is gone

Because I know He holds the future

And life is worth the living, just because He lives. ????

Many Blessings,

Connie Keyohara
