Dear Friends,
I will take it – somehow I highlighted “or” everywhere on this post? I was trying to rectify that, but then I saw it was “or” everywhere! Friends, we have hope in Jesus! The world gives us the or. No, we have hope in Jesus – there is no other hope but in Christ. So the Title Today has become: believe what the world has to say; Or? YES! There is Hope!
It is not by accident that you are reading this Today! I am excited about what God has to say to us about HOPE! And, friends, do not fear for the Lord is near! Call on His name and what does that mean to you?
In Christ should be making a difference to our faith! What passes by us that we don’t even know about? God has a message for you today! And Praise God that He got my attention to this message!
I gotta be honest, sometimes I don’t post here because I doubt and I am too busy. I have heard it say that “Too Busy” is the sin Christians love to complain about / or boast about sinning in the most! Yes, I am guilty, but I am also extremely blessed by Grace; and to God be the glory; Thank you Jesus! God’s mercy is never ending as long as God calls this day Today!
Wanna know a secret? None of us are perfect, but Christ is!
Now, dive into Christ is! Christ is! Christ Is our power and authority!
What do you HOPE for?
Friends, I HAVE thought (past tense) that I was having a heart-attack – I prayed in Jesus Name; and it passed by! I HAVE HAD (past tense) cancer – I prayed in Jesus Name; and it passed by! I am still here! And, so are you! And, So are you still here after everything, you are still here! It passed by, because I believe by faith in Jesus that I … yes, I am in Christ; and friend, if you believe and place your hope and faith in Christ alone; tell me – What is impossible for God?
In Christ alone! Do I use hand sanitizer? Yes, but my faith is not in the product; my faith is in my Savior and Lord. I use hand sanitizer, because it is a good method to use by my faith.
In Christ alone! Did I have surgery by a surgeon? Yes, but my faith was not in the man, even though he was the best surgeon around; my faith was and is in my Savior and Lord. I had surgery because I heard God say, “you will have surgery, named the good doctor, and said that I would not have Chemo!” At the end, did I take Chemo? Chemo passed by me. Why? Because of what God had said, my faith stood on God’s Word to me. I was given a choice. If not, would it have required my faith? Who does this, but God!
I could go on and on, but I truly believe that God wants you to have HOPE!
Don’t let the devil discourage you because it’s been so long; or you did have to take chemo, or someone died … Okay, let’s go there. I get it _ I used to be that person who thought our loved one was in that box. But friends, God delivered me from that fear of death; and there is a comfort from God in Jesus like no other HOPE the world has ever seen. Remember Jesus resurrected Lazarus! He was in the cave wrapped up in burial clothes for 4 days! But happened when Jesus showed up? This should make you shout with HOPE in Christ!
Lazarus had died, and many Jews from Jerusalem were with Martha and Mary who had come to comfort …
I believe this so much, because I experienced where my dad is living now! He is not dead. I hate to even say it like that, because there has to be a better way of saying that my dad had left this place, but lives in the place where I am going to be one day. He has changed forms, but yet he is still the same. He has been transformed, but yet, I know him.
Now just to toss this out there, as In Christ, we have been talking about being the salt of the earth – Salt is a preservative! Jesus help me say this! Is the world influencing us in the way we speak and think more than we are influencing the world by our faith? Man, I don’t mean to be saying it that blunt, but sometimes, if we are not careful, we can believe what we hear.
Lining it up to the word of God, what does God have to say? What did Jesus say?
What would Jesus say to this Goliath called coronaviruse?
Jesus was always sending His followers into a storm … SO THAT they could see that JESUS was God in the form of The Son!
Okay, some may try to argue that with me, but God has convinced me of who He is. And, to defend this, and leading into the Devotion of Today:
Isaiah 43:25 King James Version (KJV)
25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
Need a reason to hope?
“For mine own sake” …
Sounds like a father’s love!
For mine own sake! Sounds like a Father’s Love! For you and me – Now, once we choose Jesus, who is our Hope; all things become possible for those who love God in Christ Jesus, Savior and Lord.
Friends, Perhaps your biggest hope is for a loved one to come to the Lord and receive His Blessing? Read this Chapter in Isaiah 43. The Blind shall see. The Deaf will hear. Who does these things we can’t do? God! Choose your Hope to rest in Jesus and your focus be more on the word of God – than what the world has to say.
Friends, when you receive this you will never be the same.
Hallelujah to the Lamb of God! God for us! God With us! God in us! Now, in Christ, what can be against the Father’s love? The enemy will try. But what does the Bible say about the Victory that is ours in Jesus!

This is the 1st day, God changed the “Verse of Today” for me. For years, I wake up and take the verse I see as for me. And I always grow from the strength God gives me throughout that day of why I needed that verse for that day. Momentum grows during the week & my faith grows my confidence in God FOR me, WITH me and IN me that He IS & HE IS directing my paths and making them straight for me.
I share my devotions by Faith that when God blesses Us, It is for another too!
Faith comes by hearing & hearing comes by the Word of God.
God picked Isaiah 43:19 Today for us to look at, & yes James 4:8 fits! I believe because God wants you 1st to know God loves you & In Christ,There is Hope!
As we dive into opening our heart to receive the Word of God in a personal way, let’s define what it is we hope for.
And where does fear come from? The enemy!
The chosen ones that God lead out of Egypt is good view on God’s power, love, &devotion! But the hopes of people developed a habit of being in bondage to slavery.
Jacob’s tribe of people began by Joseph being sold into slavery, but God had positioned Joseph in a place of power WITH authority! But it took years of time and imprisonment for Joseph to rise to where God had positioned him.
What is taking God too long in your view in your life? How must Joseph felt when he knew God called him, but where was he and how long did it take for his time to come to freedom?
I always saw God’s people as stuck and God delivered them whining all the way, but friends look deeper into the story of how they got to the place of slavery & FOCUS on the God who delivered them & Why!
I saw it twice and then it was not there. The automatic verse of Today was not the one God wants us to focus on 1st. It is His Verse about Hope He wants us to 1st see HOPE Today! It was God who did that. And, It takes faith to choose that verse 1st!
It was there & it was gone. I had to go to it! I believe God wants me to say …Yes there is Hope! His Name is Jesus & Once we choose Hope all things become possible!

I will leave those hightlighted “or”s for now. Perhaps this is the thing God has done for us to see the choice we have in Jesus or the world? Have a good day in Christ friends believe and abide in the love … when you come to know and believe in the love God has for you!

I see a higher purpose to endure temptation!
In closing, faith pleases God. And it is impossible please God without faith.

And, Always Remember 2 Things! 1. When you receive this, you will never be the same! And … 2. God for us. God with us. God in us.
