I asked my Dear Sister in Christ Birga Alden if I could share her thoughts on being the mother of a senior and now having the schools closed for the rest of the school year. We are praying for all!

Today was the first day I cried since this pandemic began. Life seemed to get very heavy for many reasons today. One of the things I have to grieve is the expectations I had for my senior. It’s one thing to give up your own desires, but it’s another thing to ask your child to give up theirs. May we continue to love on one another and support each other through this difficult season. Thank you to those that are on the front lines fighting this illness. And thank you educators for being creative, finding ways to love and support your students, all while being confined to home. 2020 doesn’t look like what we expected, but may we all have deeper, greater vision as a result of what we walk through.

We thank the Lord for such Godly unity in the pro-life movement with Ethel Maharg, Elisa Martinez and Vince Torres!!! In all my years I have never seen the pro-life movement so strong in New Mexico! PTL!!! PTL!! I also want to thank my good friend and mentor, New Mexico Watchman Jose Vasquez for his years of standing in the gap for God’s babies at the Roundhouse and in his reports. By the way I have to mention Jose’s better half! Miki! Both of them have served us in such a Godly way. Both are advisers to FGGAM! I remember my days on KKIM years ago interviewing Jose from the Roundhouse and also having Elisa on my radio program!  Sharon and I love you all!

Hello Everyone,
Earlier this week I let you know that in spite of the health crisis due to COVID 19 our Governor has not shut down the elective procedures at the abortion facilities. I wrote her office and to date I have only received a form response.
Once again our three organization New Mexico Family Policy Alliance, New Mexico Alliance for Life and Right to Life have joined forces and have sent a joint letter. It has been sent to both the Governor and Cabinet Secretary, New Mexico Department of Health, Kathy Kunkel. To read the letter sent Click here.
Several states including Texas, Ohio, and Louisiana have already closed abortion clinics through this crisis to free up much needed medical resources. The more radical left leaning states which unfortunately include New Mexico are allowing abortion clinics to remain open for business. Our Governor is allowing this to take place citing family planning as the excuse. I guess any excuse will do.
Once again we need to take action. You can write to the Governor and Cabinet Secretary Kunkel at diego.arencon@state.nm.us and kathy.kunkel@state.nm.us.
They need to hear from us in mass numbers.
Remember we are down, but not out and the only way to fail is to quit. We will never quit.
