Live in Your Gift

Brothers and sisters, there may be days ahead where you feel every emotion except peace. God knew this long before you were born or this virus became an issue. Therefore, God gave us His Word to guide, encourage, and reassure, such as the following:

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

Notice if you will, the promise and the sequence: You do as instructed, and the other follows. That word “shall” is your guarantee that the promised result shall be yours.  Nothing less than His heaven-sent peace “shall” be yours!

  “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”      (John 14:27)

Believer, in Christ you have peace with God; in His forgiveness you have peace about your past. As you abide in Him and His Words abide in you, you have peace about your future. Trust Him! Live in His peace!
