Got Your Running Shoes On?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. The Lord tells us to draw near to him and he would draw near to us. James 4:8.
Last evening as I was talking with a friend from across the nation about the Threshing Floor Conference from years ago with Dr. Juanita Bynum, I laughed at some of the memories. We shared the big dreams God himself placed in our hearts.
In July 2018, I penned a post Good Morning Beautiful People…Double, Double, He’s Back, Put Your Running Shoes On! (read online) Evangelist Sam Austin and his beautiful wife arrived in Maine without luggage and he was preaching in his running shoes. Those silly sneakers spoke loudly to me that night. I love to wear heels, but I sensed the time had come for me to pull out the running shoes.
This morning as we pray and worship our Creator together, we will ask him to draw us closer, ok? Then get ready, because he answers prayer. Got your running shoes on?
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for your love for us. We ask you to draw us closer this morning. We don’t want to just know about you, we want to experience you in the fullness of the Godhead. We want to fulfill the purpose we were born for. Draw us oh, God.
Father, thank you for ordering our footsteps. We have our running shoes on and we are ready to go wherever you lead us. We are hungry to know you deeper.
Father, there is not one person you would turn away today. Draw them God all across this globe, as you are pouring out your spirit for such a time as this. Amen
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. He loves you, he created you in his image and he is drawing you closer. Run after him.
