Regaining Your Self esteem

Have you ever felt weary, broken ,rejected, abandoned by someone? Don’t start seeing yourself through the eyes of those who don’t value you. Know your worth even if they don’t. You don’t need to prove to anyone how valuable you are. You need to see yourself the way God sees you.

In Psalm 139:1-3, 13-14 assures us that God knew about each one of us before conception . God’s great desire is that we see ourselves as his beloved children. He’s our heavenly Father who will never reject or abandon us.

The enemy who knows our weakness will remind us of every failure  from our past. Then plants seeds of thoughts of condemnation and give us a sense of hopelessness.

God sent his Son to die for us. How highly He values us by sending the Holy Spirit to live in our  hearts.

2 Corinthians 3:18 And we who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever increasing glory, which comes from the Lord who is the Spirit,

The enemy ploy is to assault our minds and emotions plant ideas that don’t line up with God’s truth and keeps us focus on our own needs. Our mind often proves to be our biggest battleground. We need to meditate on God’s truth.

Psalm 139:23-24 Search me O God and know my heart test me and know my anxious thought. See if there is any offensive way in me and lead me in the way everlasting.

2 Corinthians  10:5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Isaiah 43:18-19 Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing ! Now it springs up do you not perceive it ?

Psalm 77:12 I will meditate on all your works and consider all your mighty deeds.

Psalm 138:8 The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me

Job 42:1-2 I know that you can do all things no plan of yours can be thwarted (defeated)

Romans 8:31 If God is for us, who can be against us ?

Just know that we are loved by God and excepted we have a purpose. God’s loving arms embraces us with his mercy and grace. Our self esteem is in  Christ not in ourselves or in what people say. What really matters is that we are God’s children we are valued in his eyes and that what really matters
