Romans 8:28″ and we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose”… My thoughts… I’ve seen many things happening in these past weeks with deaths of loved ones, brothers who struggle with the demons of yesteryear. I watch the devil try to take even God’s chosen out with relapses of drugs, family being torn apart.. The list has been getting large.. Sometimes it led me to ask the question ..” Is God still good when life isn’t ?” Things can be going so good, and with a snap of the finger things change.. Fear sets in, our faith begins to crumble, We question God saying,”Where are you in all this?” There is nothing in the Bible that would cause us to call a heart attack good, terminal cancer good, drug addictions good, financial struggles good the list goes on.. When cancer goes in remission, we say, “God is good”, When we get a raise, we say”God is good”, but we need to understand that God is good in the unemployment line as well as in a grocery line.. In a cemetery as well as in a nursery, in times of recession as well as in provision.. What I’m trying to say is this.. We must let God define what is good.. Let’s look at our definition of good.. Great health!! Comfort!! Recognition!! Let’s look at Gods definition using his son Jesus.. Struggles, storms, and death.. But like reflected in the above scripture.. God worked it all together for the greater good.. His glory, and our salvation.. God will mix the good and bad ingredients of life, and bring good out of them.. My beloved brothers and sisters…,bottom line here’s our choice… Trust God or turn away.. We have all been at this intersection in life.. But we have to trust him and believe that God is still good even when the outcome is not.. God owes us no more explanation than this.. And even if we demand an answer, what if God’s answer to any question of our suffering requires more megabytes than our puny minds have been given? Bottom line .. Even if we have more struggles than victories, let God finish his work.. Good days, or bad days, God is in all days.. He is the Lord of the breakthrough, The Lord of the famine and the feast, and he will use both to accomplish his will.. This may not be the forecast we want… We may have rainy days or sunny days.. But through it all… The “SON” still shines… That is all
