I want to continue this morning to share on the New Year! How are you doing in 2020 so far?
Are you worried, have regrets, wan to go back to 2019?
Last week I sent us Ecclesiastes 7:8……….
This week I want to focus on Ecclesiastes 7:10….’Do not say, why were the old days better than these?’ For it is wise not to ask such questions.
Think about 2019……
Would you really like to re-live it?
The illnesses and surgeries?
The conflicts you had in relationships? The temptations and spiritual struggles you had?
The Bible teaches us that we should not look back!
In Luke 9, Jesus said, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the Kingdom of God.”
I’m reminded of the OT account of Lot and his wife.
They were told not to look back! ……and we know what happened to HER!
