Do You Have Your One Way Ticket?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Life is like a vapor here today and gone tomorrow the Holy scriptures tell us. We only pass through this life one time and one time only. We need to be thankful for each and every day.
People invest in a lot of things. Today ask God what he would have you invest in. Some invest in stocks, some in bonds, some in real estate and the list seems endless. God’s Word tells us where our treasure is, there our heart will be also. (Matthew 6:21) He tells us to store up for ourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal. (Matthew 6:20)
I enjoy talking and interviewing people. I hear stories of all kinds of things that people believe. I usually will pray and ask God to reveal truth to them and to me as well. Jesus tells us in John 14:6 I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well.
Growing up I had a friend that would sing a song with words something like this; If you miss heaven you’ve missed it all, but for me to reach heaven I would gladly crawl. I am so thankful we don’t have to crawl, but we just need to pray and believe, amen? Amen! Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for your love and your tender care of your people. Thank you for shaping our lives. Father, we surrender everything. Every part of our lives and everything we own or will ever own, we lay it all on the altar for the purpose of investing in the kingdom.
Father, thank you for drawing man unto yourself. Thank you for removing the veil that the god of this age has blinded them. (2 Corinthians 4:4) We want to see them in heaven.
Father, thank you for rebuilding the ancient ruins in people’s lives, our communities and our nation to the nations of the world, according to your Word. (Isaiah 61) We believe.
Father, trust us with much, we pray. Amen
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Read all of John 14 today. Make sure you have your one way ticket.
Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12
