This past year saw the New Mexico State Police move into action in Albuquerque because of a horrific crime spree, now they patrol the streets of Belen.

This is a Spiritual crisis not only New Mexico but America, it is not a political crisis it is Spiritual warfare. We are a country now, where many have made politics their God. Sadly, people think politics will solve our problems, that is so very wrong. Politics is wrecking our Country. Politics in America is mired down in thick mud slop.

The Truth About Spiritual Warfare

I was on the phone with a Police Sergeant here in Albuquerque just yesterday. They have their hands full. Please pray for our Heroes hourly.

New Mexico State Police started patrolling Belen after the FBI identified the city has having the highest violent crime rate in the state, per capita. The FBI reports that Belen also has the high property crime rate, per capita. KOB TV REPORT

We are praying for the people of Belen. I have received reports of such bad things going on in the Belen area. Drugs and the other crimes that come with it have become a serious problem in rural America. This is an American problem. It is a spiritual crisis.

We get into serious trouble when we do not have the minds of Christ…… When we are not grounded in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Too much of the world struggles with the “natural mind” The thinking process that is limited to human reason and resources. Human history shows that the natural mind becomes progressively self-destructive if left to it’s own desires. People who are directed by their natural minds walk in darkness and have incorrect thinking.
“So I tell you this, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.” Eph 4:17,18
The Word of God calls the mind of a natural man “blinded” 2 Cor. 4:4 “depraved” Romans 1:28, “corrupt” 1 Tim 6:5, and “unspiritual” Col. 2:18. The natural mind thinks from a humanistic  sin-debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs it’s thoughts. The sinful mind is under control of Satan.
“America has gone a long way down the wrong road.
We must turn around and go back and change roads.
If ever we needed God’s help, it is now …” -stated Billy Graham, as he received the Congressional Gold Medal, May 2, 1996.
Rev. Graham added:
“Bad politicians are elected by good people who don’t vote.”
Rev. Graham continued:
“What is the problem? The real problem is within ourselves …
Billy Graham became an evangelist in the 1940s.
He proclaimed:
“All are sinners and stand under the judgment of God …
Christ came to make forgiveness and salvation possible.
What did He do? He died on the cross as the complete sacrifice for our sins. He took upon Himself the judgment that we deserve …
But like any gift, it becomes ours only when we take it …
I may say that I believe a bridge will hold my weight. But I really believe it only when I commit myself to it and walk across it.
Saving faith involves an act of commitment and trust, in which I commit my life to Jesus Christ and trust Him alone as my Savior and Lord.”
He added:
“Yes, it costs to follow Christ. But it also costs not to follow Christ.”
I believe the fundamental crisis of our time is a crisis of the spirit.
We have lost sight of the moral and spiritual principles on which this nation was established – principles drawn largely from the Judeo-Christian tradition as found in the Bible …
What must be done? Let me briefly suggest three things.
First, we must repent. In the depths of the American Civil War, Abraham Lincoln called for special days of public repentance and prayer.
Our need for repentance is no less today …”

Great message here by Billy Graham……..I have been saying for years that we need MATURE CHRISTIANS, we are suffering much because we do not help people in grow in love with Jesus. One reason is that many see too much hate in Christians and do not go to Church. Love like Jesus. Live that so people see Jesus in you and not Hollywood!

Does the Bible teach the importance of maturing as adults?

Nov 8, 2019

From the writings of the Rev. Billy GrahamQ: Someone has said that millennials have not been taught the importance of maturing as adults. This has led to an entire generation afraid to grow up. Does the Bible speak to this matter? — I.A.

A: On a human level we know maturity isn’t just a matter of age. We’ve all met people who were adults in terms of years yet acted like children: irresponsible, inconsiderate, impulsive, unwise in the decisions they made. They are immature no matter their age.

A mature person isn’t just physically mature but has grown up emotionally and socially. They’ve learned to be responsible and to realize that their actions have consequences. In a similar way, spiritual maturity isn’t just a question of how long we have been a Christian. Sadly, far too many Christians never grow and develop in their faith. They are in spiritual limbo. Someone may look at their spiritual life five years ago and then look today and see little difference. They are like the Christians to whom Paul spoke: “I… could not address you as spiritual people, but as… infants in Christ” (1 Corinthians 3:1, ESV).

It is tragic when a child fails to develop into a capable, mature adult. Many times it’s because the adults in their lives have set the bar low; many are never taught that there is an expectation to “grow up.”

Even more tragic is a Christian who fails to develop spiritually. We weren’t meant to remain spiritual babies. Instead, God’s goal for us is spiritual maturity (Hebrews 6:1). The Bible also urges, “Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation” (1 Peter 2:2, NIV). The goal of a child’s life is maturity — and the goal of a Christian’s life is spiritual maturity.
