We are so very blessed to have a Thanksgiving Devotional from Sister Connie Keyohara! God Bless you Sister! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your precious family! We love you all!

Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. Psalm 107:8&9

Thanksgiving Day, Turkey in the oven, pies cooling, dressing and gravy set in their ceramic bowls, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the fragrance in the house is  absolutely amazing.

The desserts look like something out of a Martha Stewart magazine. From table settings to presentation.

Have you ever stopped to think about the real reason we celebrate?

Thanksgiving Day is basically celebrating the harvest and other blessings of the past year. Giving God thanks for a bountiful year.

No matter who you are or what you’ve been through, there is always something to be thankful for!

Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Psalm  103:2

When was the last time you stopped to remember all of His benefits? If you ever experienced forgiveness, or your living a meaningful and full life. Your health, job, car, home, children, grandchildren. Freedom to worship God or any number of things you can think of.

These are all things to be grateful for. There is nothing that encourages praise like gratitude. Have a thankful heart and Praise Him and let the party begin.

One of the best qualities we can develop is that of Thankfulness. There are few characteristics that will influence our lives more than this. Thankfulness can effect every area of our lives in a wonderful way.

Begin to thank God for all the blessings he has given you instead of dwelling on the negative things in your life. Watch Him do his thing… the ultimate blessings are to come.

As you review this past year, think of some blessings that you’ve received. Share them with your family.

Allowing our hearts to be thankful helps us gives credit where credit is due…. to God!

It helps stop bitterness, self pity, discouragement, It protects us from letting our lives be defined by what the worlds view of happiness is, and by what we don’t have.

Today, I urge you to give thanks with a grateful heart. Look at all Gods blessings in your life!

I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 1:4

My prayer for you today is that you’d stay humble and be reminded of your need for God.

Happy Thanksgiving,????

Connie Keyohara
