Whose Gain Is It For?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. This morning I was thinking of the woman I met once again yesterday. Her husband is an hour and a half away from her in a long term care facility. I stood and listened to this woman as she anxiously puffed her cigarette about the uncertainty of both of their futures. I met her for the first time as I was walking down a sidewalk a few weeks ago, in a small town here in Maine. My new friend from India and I stopped and prayed for her on that divine appointment day. I don’t know the resources they currently have in place, but together we prayed and asked God to send them help, his help from on high.
This morning, I think of her once again and her desire to have him home. I think about what that would like for a woman that I don’t even know her name, as she puts her trust in God. Father, set it up, intervene is my prayer this morning as I think about her. Do only as you can do Father, as only you can do. Lead her to the help she needs and give her peace as she places her trust in you. Let’s Pray:
Father, fill us with compassion, love and kindness to those in need. May we never just walk on by, as we journey our day. Father, never let the pride of life take us places that we should never go.
Father, use us today, Jesus style. For he was humble and meek and he told us to learn from him. (Matthew 11:29) Amen
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Bring peace today to a weary soul.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Matthew 5:8
