What was it like to be at President Trump’s Rally last night in Rio Rancho, NM? I asked Lydia Hayley Crandall of Edgewood, Michelle Metzgar Dunlap of Estancia, Frank Haley of Albuquerque and Marcie May of Albuquerque that question:
What a surreal opportunity to be among a great crowd of like-minded, God-fearing people yesterday! Hearing our president speak on issues that are dear to our hearts, such as the right to LIFE for our unborn; our right to bear arms; recognizing & honoring the great nation of Israel; the fight against the opioid crisis; protecting our citizens from drugs, violent criminals & sex traffickers, by building the much needed wall; putting Vets before illegals; the importance of upholding our great Constitution & appointed conservative Supreme Court Justice’s; the booming economy; the low unemployment rates & so much more-what an honor to be a part of it! God bless the USA & God bless our great President, in Jesus mighty name. Amen!! ❤️????????????????????????????????

I attended the Trump Rally in Rio Rancho on September 16, 2019 and it was something that I’ll never forget! The fact that our President stated, “ We are one glorious Nation Under God,” just solidified to me that God chose a wonderful man to be President! He spoke about the sanctity of life, which resonates so heavily with me, as I strongly oppose abortion!
The rally was so exciting, full of like minded, God-fearing, Americans!
The crowd cheered with each promise the President has made and kept. We cheered when he said as long as he was President, our 2nd Amendment rights would always be protected. We cheered when he gave the statistics of how NM Latinos have begun to prosper under his administration. We cheered when he said that America would not be a socialist country.
I for one am so grateful for the opportunity to have gone to this rally and am so thankful that we have a President who’s not afraid to praise God and give Him glory!
It was a priceless experience and I’d do it again if given the opportunity!❤️

Last night’s rally for President Trump was one of the best organized smoothing run political events I’ve ever seen. Security was top notch, parking was easy to deal with, everyone was easy going, no snags that I saw. Just a lot of waiting, long lines for every thing but that’s normal. I thought the music that was played before the president spoke in side was way too loud and I had a hard time understanding the speakers, but that’s just me. Next time I’ll stay home and watch it on TV. Remember Heaven has a wall, a gate and a strict immigration policy. Hell has open borders.
BUILD THE WALL.
As Will Rogers used to say, “the only reason to vote Republican, is the Democrats”.

I guess the excitement started even before Saturday, September 7, when I saw an ad on social media that the President was coming to our New Mexico. So, yes. I am an avid Trump supporter. I didn’t start out that way, but through several very important passed “litmus tests,” that I had to be able to fully support anyone for President, I knew that this man, though flawed, had my full support.

What were those litmus tests? Being Pro-God and Pro-life were the first topics of importance, with protection of the Constitution, and smaller government following close behind. My true conviction is this: If we honor God and His Laws, He will bless our nation financially. “Psalm 33:12-22 King James Version (KJV) Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.” The Lord honors those who put Him first.

This is actually a recap on what I believe led up to the intense energy an excitement that was tangibly present at the rally in Rio Rancho this Monday, Sept. 16, 2019. To really encompass what people were feeling we must take a look at what has been happening in our state particularly over the past several months in particular, not just regarding Trump, but the way that our state and local governments have been treating the Citizens of New Mexico. People do not like to be badgered, especially by elected officials. If this rally is any indication of what will be happening in 2020, there’s going to be a lot of change coming!

To begin, the biggest impact that this current President has made is the fact that he has followed through on so many of those promises made. So much so, that the media refuses to report on it. People are not used to seeing any politician follow through on promises at all. Which is also why so many people voted for him – because he has been a wrecking ball to the political establishment. And the Political Establishment doesn’t like anyone pushing them off their hill of power. That goes for both parties. He has been a breath of fresh air to us, the common man. The “Deplorables” – (Really?!?! Who talks about their fellow Citizens like that? That is so… feudalistic.)

Another reason why this rally created such a surge of excitement, especially among us New Mexicans, is because we are a hard working people. A people of deep culture who values la familia. We have deep roots that go back for centuries, of faith and freedom. Many come from ranching communities – the wild west. While we have the cities of Albuquerque and Santa Fe and Cruces, we are still relatively small towns and rural throughout most of our State. That’s what makes New Mexico great. We are like a hidden jewel in the southwest, with so much culture; actually many varieties of ethnicities, that we have more in common with Trump’s policies than we have been led to think, especially by the Governor and many of those pushing the latest political agendas, especially this past year.

Take for instance, the blocking of HB 51. A horrendous bill mandating the heinous practice of late term abortion. Stripping our physicians of their basic right of conscience and threatening them with lawsuits if they didn’t “perform” abortions. We’re not even talking about the language used to ram-rod this legislation, and threatening to “primary” any democrats who went against her agenda. Who does this kind of thing? Bullying and threatening language, along with our highly concentrated Hispanic and Native American populations who value life, at all stages, sent one message to the people: you are the enemy! Her abusive treatment to her fellow Democrats was juvenile.

Then, as we approached the summer, another outside agenda started to come down from the top- the Red Flag Laws. The stripping away of the 2nd Amendment. Our brave sheriffs who stood in defiance to the Governor’s declaration were called “Rogue.” Did you catch that? She set herself against 30 out of 33 county Sheriffs, basically calling them the enemy! Against who? The Sheriffs weren’t the ones against the people. They have taken an oath to protect and defend the Constitution, a document designed and created to protect the common man against any over encroaching government official or office. She was calling our Sheriffs HER enemy!
She called the President her enemy, and threatened to sue him! Why? Because he was putting up a wall as a national defense measure. That was clearly against her agenda! She started by removing over 10K national guard troops from our border, closing the border check points, and then not supporting our Border Patrol Agents. She has sat somewhat quietly after the People of New Mexico started calling her on her neglect of the state she was elected to protect. She blames the President for building a wall, when she, herself, has taken those who were protecting the Citizens of New Mexico away from their jobs! Who does this kind of thing? Not someone who is interested in protecting the basic safety of the people of our state.

I’m not even going to go into depth about the shadowy election of Xochitl Torrez-Small or manipulation of our border patrol! What the heck, Governor?!!? One fourth of our entire border is open and being infiltrated by Mexican drug lords! High crime, drug use, fentanyl traffick, human trafficking. We have been told for too long that we are the problem, or that we deserve this kind of treatment. Our crime has sky rocketed as the “sanctuary cities” became more of a priority than our own impoverished citizens. They have been sent to the back of the bus in order to promote a political agenda designed to destroy our nation. We are not against legal immigration. Illegal means breaking the law. Trump is not against immigrants and addressed this in his speech. New Mexico is at high risk because of our proximity to Mexico. We are the first ones to be infected with the huge influx of drugs, human and sex trafficking. Women and children are the most affected! Yet, we are called evil if we want a wall. I can’t tell you how many times our Hispanic New Mexicans began to chant, “Build the wall! Build the wall!” Hispanic New Mexicans deserve to be protected from drug lords and trafficking, too, as do all Americans!

That is why Trump’s rally was electric! The energy was so high, and people were so happy to be there.
(I also wanted to mention that this same excitement was at our State Fair Parade on the 7th.) Because that is what a people who have been badgered by those they elected will do! We don’t want hand outs! We want those in gov’t to do the jobs their elected to do. That is represent the people, not tell their plebian constituents what they are supposed to do or believe!

I truly wish that those who have demonized this President would actually take time to listen to him. The media plays him like some yelling overpowering menace. But if they would take a few minutes, they would see that he is a man with a plan. A man who has been bringing everyone from every demographic to the table to get their input. That is what makes him successful. Most organizations would do well to follow this principle. It doesn’t mean that you use all of the suggestions, but each group has value. Those who are in the inner cities will have real world suggestions of what they really need, not someone 2,000 miles away in Washington DC, who only has some vested interested in a company that can profit off of his investment. Maybe that town can help, but maybe there is something better locally. New Mexicans pride themselves on being self made. And on making decisions that are best for our state. Many of these politicians and political agendas are coming from out of state, masquerading, posing, as a help for minorities.

Trump barely even mentioned MLG. He never mentioned her attempts to sue him. He didn’t focus on her. He focused on us New Mexicans and our potential. On our oil and gas industry. On our economy. On the evils on Socialism. And how this has effected our educational system.

The truth is that all of these all of the aforementioned problems originated from socialism. That has been the basis of the push to destroy our nation and our state. The constant push towards socialistic principles are the principles that have been destroying our state’s economy, our educational system, and our families. Socialism has been ravaging our state, that we have been beaten down, and then blamed, and then had demonized if we don’t agree with the socialistic policies that are being jammed down our throats! Governmental officials attacking individual citizens should serve as an astute reminders. One to the government officials – you are there to serve the citizen, and two, to the Citizens, your elected officials are overstepping their boundaries – beware!

I’ll tell you, that is one thing you cannot do to a wild west state, with people who are born with freedom in their bones, and not expect to get some serious repercussions. Threaten this kind of people about their faith, and then threaten to take away their guns, and you will have a fierce fight on your hands. I don’t care how intellectually elite you think you are, history has proven that those who go to fight against people in their own territory will not win.

Put quite simply, President Trump came in like a wrecking ball to the establishment, swamp, the good ole’ boys system, and he is the employee of the people. He’s an excellent listener. He knows what it is like to be a boss, and he knows when a boss needs to say, “You’re fired!” We have sooo needed someone in the office of President.

His demeanor is nothing like that of any other government official that I’ve seen before. Every time time I have seen him on television, he is always applauding the audience. At the end of his rally, one this I could sense from him, was the overwhelming support that he got from our state. Our State. Our little State of New Mexico. I could sense that he was humbled by our support.

In the midst of sharing his accomplishments, not only for our state, but for our nation, he reminded us, “We don’t need to be cocky… I need you to talk and educate those around you. I need your vote.” He knows that without “the people,” he doesn’t have a job. He talked about his job and that he loves his job. We, the People, were not targets. We weren’t described as rogue. I believe the kind of treatment that us New Mexicans have gotten especially this past year is akin to the backlash that he has also been the recipient of since he began running. Perhaps this is why there was such a high turn out. We began to identify with the President who was fighting for what we asked him to fight for, and then we began to be that same target. That is very telling. And we should all take note.

When Citizens are targeted for wanting personal freedoms of speech and religion to be protected, when Citizens are targeted for standing up for the right to defend themselves to be protected, when Citizens are targeted for wanting to exercise their God-given rights protected by the Constitution, there is a major problem by those who are in power. Trump has jammed a stick in the cogs that have been pushing this agenda in our country. And like Moses, who stopped the building of Pharoah’s temple in The Ten Commandments, in order to keep from crushing the one human woman, we are finally starting to see the real detriment that socialism is doing to our country. He sees it. Will we?

He has said in the past that this fight against socialism is not about him. I truly believe that. It is about the destiny of our nation. Will we choose socialism, leading to communism (and at some points we’re already there), or will we continue to choose to protect and defend the Constitution of United States of America? We do have a choice! And believe me, the socialists and the true facists (Antifa) are trying with all of their might to push their agenda. But, thankfully, their facade is melting. The truth about their policies is being shown for what it truly it. Our Constitutional Republic, though performed through imperfect men and women, is designed to protect those imperfect men and women through a series of checks and balances and elections so that we can’t do endless damage to ourselves.

We are truly at a crux in our nation’s history. Socialism is waiting for our complacency, our ignorance, our apathy. The constant barrage of chaotic events have been designed to wear us down, to fatigue us to the point of apathy. But we must not give in. Even if those around us want to, or have. There is a bigger enemy that awaits us, lulling us to give in to “the inevitable.” The Great Nothing is at the door of Our America. But the Lord has been gracious to give us this imperfect man, who is willing to tell it like it is. Who actually talks like us and thinks like us. Who is willing to take a hit, not because he hates the Leftist policies, but because he loves our the People of our Nation. And he sees something great inside of each one of us. People are drawn to others who call out greatness in them. We, the People of New Mexico, are tired of being demeaned by our local and state governments. We are better than that.

What an historical and momentous occasion Monday night was. We packed the largest venue in our state to overflowing, with several thousand outside. Every ethnicity. Every economic background. Every demographic represented. All, except for a few people bused in, supporting our President. All supporting our State. All supporting our Constitution. We were indeed, one nation Under God! And it was phenomenal!

Pastor Richard Mansfield Prays at President Trump’s Rally……..
Everything starts and ends with prayer…….We are so super blessed to have Pastor Richard as a mentor. Years ago, one day, when I was serving as the manager of KKIM Christian Radio in Albuquerque, a lovely lady came up to me and said, “You know Dewey, Pastor Richard Mansfield is the Pastor of New Mexico!” That really had an impact on me, for over 15 years I have watched this man, I have zeroed in on him and how he lives his life. He lives for Jesus and all people. The man loves all. Preaches no hate, but the love of Jesus. I have had the blessing to have had personal talks with Pastor Richard. I have asked him for advice, for prayers, for his love. Pastor Richard has been such a blessing to me and Sharon and the ministry of FGGAM.
Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. 1 Timothy 2:2
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people– 1 Timothy 2:1
Pastor Richard Mansfield of New Beginnings Church of Albuquerque praying at President Trump’s Rally in Rio Rancho, New Mexico Sept. 16th, 2019!

From Pastor Richard Mansfield’s son, Ricky!

If you support our president or not. I’m beyond honored to say my father Richard A Mansfield was asked to do the opening prayer. Praying for our president, county, state, and city. In the Bible the leaders of countries would ask the ministers/prophets of the day to pray over and bless them. How cool my Dad is amongst them.
Here is Pastor Richard’s Prayer:

God bless you!

Mis queridos Nuevos Mexicanos

Viva Nuevo Mexico!
Viva America!
Viva Trump!

An estimated 9,000 people attended President Trump’s rally in Rio Rancho, NM yesterday. We are thankful that the rally was very peaceful! New Mexico shined for the most part yesterday, a great example for the United States. There were some however, that tried to spread hate, see below.

ABQ JOURNAL REPORT

Below is an example of the hate that some office holders in the state were trying to fuel……..here is a fund raising email I got yesterday, awful stuff! Trying to ignite hate for money! Makes me so very sad.

Maggie Toulouse Oliver for U.S. Senate

KKIM, (I still get news releases from people thinking I am still the manager of KKIM Christian Radio)

Today’s the day — Trump has brought his campaign of hate to New Mexico in the hopes that he can divide our state and turn it red.

We were determined to send Trump a message that his bigotry and hate-fueled politics are not welcome in New Mexico. You think this will do the trick?

Picture of Maggie's billboard

This billboard is located right where Trump will be driving from the airport to his hate rally.

The billboard is part of our message to Trump. We’ve also set a simple goal: $1 for every seat in the arena where he’ll be.

Pitch in before midnight to raise $7,500 to match the seats at his hate rally and send a clear message that we reject Trump’s division in New Mexico.

If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Trump is the antithesis of New Mexico values.

He spreads hate, fear, and division wherever he goes. In New Mexico, we value our vibrant and diverse communities. We embrace our neighbors and our differences. We take care of each other.

We’re not taking the impact of Trump’s visit lightly. We need to show no matter how many people who show up, we will outmatch them.

Let’s go,

Maggie

This is very sad! Breaks my heart.

From Yesterday:

Lord, we pray today for the safety of all at Presidents Trump’s rally, we pray that common sense and good behavior by all will prevail and this will be a shining example to America. Lord, we pray peace and good will over New Mexico, in Jesus name, Amen!

We pray that New Mexico will shine today by showing respect to the President of the United Stews Donald Trump. ABQ Journal Report

Trump Visits New Mexico With an Eye on 2020

Past Posts:

This is a time where New Mexico can shine and show respect! We pray that common sense will prevail.

This week I got an email from an elected official here in New Mexico that was full of hate about President Trump coming to New Mexico, I hardly could believe the wording!!! There is so much hate in America. Whatever happened to agreeing to disagree and not get nasty about it? I am not posting that email because that would be like pouring gas on the fire out there. Remember what the bible says about fools……..

Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you yourself will be just like him. Proverbs 26:4

Do not speak to fools, for they will scorn your prudent words. Proverbs 23:9

The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice. Proverbs 12:15

We are praying that people will behave themselves with the upcoming visit of President Trump to New Mexico. Please be in prayer with us.  KOB TV Reports:

With the Rio Rancho Trump rally less than a week away, law enforcement officials are prepping to avoid a repeat of the chaos that happened during the president’s visit back in 2016.

A protest-turned-riot had people throwing rocks at buildings and police horses outside of the Albuquerque Convention Center. KOB TV REPORT

ABQ Journal Report

God’s Word call’s the mind of the natural man “blinded” Read 2 Cor. 4:4 The scriptures also call’s the mind of the natural man, “depraved” Romans 1:28, “corrupt” 1 Tim 6:5, “unspiritual” Col 12:18

The natural mind thinks from a humanistic, sin debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs it’s thoughts. The sinful mind is under the control of Satan and can never please God because it concentrates on things of the world and not things of the Spirit. The natural mind walks the path of hopelessness and self-destruction.

Let your light shine before the darkness, let your light for Jesus show others the only true path.

As you grow in your relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ your discernment will grow and you will be able to see  His light so clearly and your God given discernment will enable you to see through the darkness so clear, you will be set free more and more knowing the difference between good and evil.

a message about representing Christ online and in public

Episode 54

Thanks for tuning in to my latest episode. In this podcast I will be addressing a very important topic that involves our behaviors and how we can represent in the right way. It is so easy to get sucked into a conversation that turns into an argument while on social media or even in person. I will be referencing important verses from 2nd Timothy that we can glean from in our daily lives on how to stay focused on how to represent as followers of Jesus Christ. We are living in a digital age where everyone is sharing their opinions on social media which can be a great tool; it’s just a matter of knowing how to react and remember who we are supposed to be in the world. My prayer is that this podcast will shed light on ways in which we all can behave and handle conversations as followers of Jesus Christ. God Bless You all and I look forward as always to reading your comments and thanks in advance for sharing this with others.

How can there be hope in such perplexity?

Sep 16, 2019

From the writings of the Rev. Billy GrahamQ: Human nature is complex and when I try to reason out why we as people struggle within ourselves, it leaves me weary and troubled. How can there be hope in such perplexity? — W.W.A: Think of all the advancements in medicine, communications and technology the human race has made in the last century or so. We should be grateful that God has given man the ability to make this kind of progress. But also think of the tragic fact that these same centuries have seen the most devastating wars in human history. In spite of our accomplishments, we humans are still a painful mixture of good and bad, love and hate, joy and sorrow. We have the ability to reach the moon, instantly communicate with someone on the other side of the globe, and cure many diseases, but we can also destroy millions with the press of a button. When people put hope in themselves and their fellowman, and even in what mankind has accomplished, it will lead to despair because no man or woman can solve the world’s problems; only Christ Jesus can do that.

Even those of us who have committed our lives to Jesus Christ often do things we don’t want to do, and we don’t do the things we ought to do (Romans 7:19-20). That is why we need to open our hearts continually to Christ and allow Him to take away our sin and self-centeredness. Only He can make us new; only He can change our hearts and make us more like Himself.

We must not be satisfied to remain the same. We don’t have to stay the same as we have been in the past, burdened down with sin and regret. We must open our hearts and lives to Christ’s transforming power and follow Him.
