We Can Hurt Gods Heart

I’ll always remember how stunned I was to hear that my behavior, could grieve God’s Holy Spirit! What a wake-up call that was! Things I do that I know I shouldn’t; things I know I should do, but don’t…can bring sadness to my Lord! It’s bad enough to realize how much we can disappoint our spouse, children, parents or good friends. I don’t know any believer who is ok with hurting the way Jesus feels about us. Yes, we are promised He loves us unconditionally, regardless of our sins. But this is a powerful reminder that everything we think, do & say affects others, & has consequences. “Lord, remind me to constantly live in a way that pleases Jesus.”
