“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.” – John 16:13

Brother Enock Olusegun Idowu was conducting a School of Missions Conference in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria to train new missionaries with his ministry last week. He was asked to teach on discipleship. His subject was, “The Supremacy of Jesus and The Will of the Father,” with emphasis on how to listen to Jesus under the supervision of the Holy Spirit and then obey Him. This is what he shared with us as to what happened next:

“Pastor Don, yesterday I was sure that the Holy Spirit wanted me to take my Proclaimer to use in my class. He told me that the second part of the lecture time should be dedicated to listening to the Doctrines of Christ from the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5,6 and 7), using the Proclaimer.

My dear brother, I can’t hide what happened. It was as if we were on the mountain with Jesus. We were supposed to close the session by 3 pm, which I tried to do, but all of the 17 students did not allow me to go until 5 pm. It was great brother, they were asking questions on each of Jesus Christ’s statements, as if they were new believers!

I watched them as they went back to their houses with light surrounding them. I mean the Light of Christ’s words (John 8:12). It wasn’t my class yesterday but Jesus Christ’s class with the Proclaimer as a tool.

We can’t stop thanking you for partnering with us with this tool for our assignment. Brethren in USA, and Faith Comes By Hearing, we can’t underestimate your partner power. Thank you very much.”
