We are blessed to have a new posting from Sister Connie Keyohara! God Bless you Sister! We are thankful for you and your family!

Stay always within the boundaries where God’s love can reach and bless you. Wait patiently for the eternal life that our Lord Jesus Christ in his mercy is going to give you. Jude 21

I remember when I was around 7 years old, we were at the New Mexico State Fair one evening. We got the usual lecture from my parents, “Stay close and stay in eyes view.”

I was too busy looking away and with the large crowds around, I accidentally got into the path of folks going the opposite direction.

Before I knew it, I was lost. What seemed like hours was probably only 15 minutes.

I hadn’t stayed close and in eyes view. I left the covering and security of my parents.

When my dad finally found me, I cried and apologized. I said I’d never get away from them again. I saw relief in my dads eyes.

Today, this reminds me of Gods protection and security. Scripture tells us that His faithfulness is our Shield and Rampart. It is important that we stay within the shadow of his wings and under his protection.

He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge. Psalm 91:4

“The LORD is my refuge, and if you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” Psalm 91:9-11

Sometimes we venture out because we might be in sin, other times we peek out because we’re not minding our own business. We get caught up in that sin and do not realize what’s waiting for us.

Often times we tend to lurk outside of the shadow because we’re intrigued by worldly desires. This should not be so. All this does is lead to death. Either a physical death or spiritual death.

Scripture is very clear that Satan wants to kill you. The moment you get out of God’s covering and protection, you are fair game to the devil. Beware, he’s not playing around.

The enemy, the thief,  comes only to steal and KILL and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1

God is our shelter and refuge. The dictionary defines refuge as a place that shelters or protects from danger, distress or calamity; a stronghold which protects by its strength or a sanctuary which secures safety by its sacredness; any place inaccessible to an enemy.  This is great news.

Walk with God and under his protection and you’ll be just fine!

My prayer for you today is that you’d remain under God’s protection.

Many Blessings,

Connie Keyohara
