Lord we repent on behalf of the people of New Mexico

We are in constant prayer here at FGGAM for the state of New Mexico. Most every breath I take is a prayer, that is how I get through my days, I also PRAISE MY LORD when I am praying, for all HE has done and will do for me and my family and the ministry. It just breaks my heart of how violent New Mexico has become, and that we continue to see  babies aborted and so many murders in Albuquerque and in the state. This month 5-year-old Renezmae Calzada of Espanola was killed. Think about it today…..that babies are being killed here…..the Church needs SALT!

Think today and all days the pain of the families that have lost loved ones to murders in New Mexico……all the families that have been turned upside down, never to be the same again…..missing their loved one.

Comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable

Pastor Debra Scott leads us in prayer…….

Debra Scott Lord we repent on behalf of the people of New Mexico. We turn to you and not to our own ways. We Trust in the Lord with our whole heart and lean not on our own understanding. In all our ways we acknowledge you and you will direct the people of New Mexico’s steps. We bind every demonic force that raises itself above your ways. Lord open blind eyes take out hearts of stone and give us hearts that are tender to you. We speak Psalm 91 over NM Lord heal our land. Forgive us for the blood of innocent unborn children murdered because their lives weren’t valued. Forgive us Lord and give out gifts of full repentance.

Past posts……….

Jesus wept. John 11:35
The Lord is the only one who can save Albuquerque……

We had a friends daughter beaten to a pulp this past weekend in Albuquerque, an innocent young girl was was attacked by a group of girls!!! Last week a Middle School student at LBJ was slugged by an adult in the park next door!

We are losing our city to Satan! A Pastor told me that I say things others wish they could say…..I don’t know about that, but I have to report what the Lord tells me to report, I cannot sugar coat the news. The Church does too much sugar coating to what is really going on……..SPIRITUAL WARFARE! See below for more….

We abort children in Albuquerque, the list of sins goes on and on……..

I was asked by a man in Albuquerque this week, “Why don’t preachers, preach heaven and hell anymore?, you know like Billy Graham did and preachers like you do?”

Good question! Read below a post by Pastor Leonard Navarre on SALT!

I asked Apostle Barbara Gould, pictured below, of Emmanuel Ministries International of Albuquerque/Rio Rancho to lead us in prayer for the children of New Mexico. This month 5-year-old Renezmae Calzada of Espanola was killed.

Dear FATHER, GOD, Your children are being abused and murdered. LORD JESUS, You said, suffer the little children to come unto me for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven. We know children are valuable to You. FATHER, in JESUS’S Name, let Your justice come to bear on these evil perpetrators against our children. GOD, Your Word declares that righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne. Let laws be enacted to protect our children. Let there be swift and exact justice for our little ones. FATHER, give Your people a vision to help children who live in unsettled and precarious conditions. Make us more aware; help us to offensively, intentionally, see how we, as Your people, LORD JESUS, can help to avoid these wicked acts against the innocent. Show us how we can help, also. And FATHER, I plead the BLOOD OF JESUS over these children, especially those who have been placed in vulnerable situations by their parents. Cover these innocent babies & children, dear LORD. Send angelic help to fight for them. Keep them in Your loving, mighty Hand. FATHER, in Your Amazing Love, we are trusting You for miraculous protection for our little innocent ones. We are trusting You to intervene in our Government and Legal system to create laws that will bring swift justice to bear on this wickedness. Precious FATHER, thank You that before we call You for answering and while we are still speaking. we know You hear. We are confident that You, GOD are moving and changing the atmosphere of death over our nation. As Your people we declare and decree LIFE over our children, over our State, our Nation and the world. In JESUS Name, we pray. Amen!!! (Mark 10:14-15; Luke 18:15-16; Matthew 18:1-6; Isaiah 65:24)

Thank you for leading us in prayer Sister Barbara!!!

The Church has to be SALT…..not so much Hollywood……..

From Pastor Leonard Navarre:

Your Bible Boost, Matthew 5:13
I am indebted to two men in my life who have shaped most of my thinking on loving others from whatever sect you may have come. Also for helping me recognize that we are not the only passengers on the “gospel ship” with our particular brand or label of Christianity. God has children in all groups of which many I do not know but would love to meet.
The two men of whom I speak are W. Carl Ketcherside and Boyce Mouton plus throw in a sounding board in Tom Tucker and “whalla” – my views. The following article is adapted from a conversation I had with and printed article given by W. Carl Ketcherside. I am praying that it helps to get us “out of the salt shaker” of which an entire book has been written.
Matthew 5:13
Salt is not something which you try to become in Jesus Christ. It is what your ARE in Jesus Christ. Here are a few characteristics of salt which should provide some insights into the nature of discipleship and followship for each of us who claim to be believers and followers of Jesus Christ.
1. Salt was so very precious during the days of Jesus. It was so valuable that Roman soldiers received salt as a portion of their wages. Hence, our word “salary” literally means, “payment in salt”. To this day we say of someone who does not rise to the mark or measure up as one who “is not worth their salt”. The fact that Jesus referred to His disciples as “salt” is a strong indication of how precious and valuable they were to Him and to influencing the world.
2. Salt was the best preservative known during the time of Jesus Christ. Sometimes when a corpse was transported a long distance, it was packed in salt, not ice. When a covenant or contract was to be implemented between two parties, they ate salt together to seal the contract. The covenant God made with Israel in the Old Testament required that salt accompany every cereal offering. (See Lev. 2:13)
3. Salt was a purifying agent in the days of Jesus. It was believed to possess antiseptic qualities and when a soldier was wounded, the hole in the flesh was often stuffed full of salt to prevent infection. It was used by Elisha to purify a spring of water (II Kings 2:22). This make it very eye opening for us to consider our influence as Christians in this society which is infected by sin.
4. Salt increases the taste or the flavor of food. All of us have eaten attractively prepared food in which the cook forgot to add the salt. The “gourmet” meal taste flat and uninspired. So we feel compassion on the folks who have to be on a “salt free” diet. We could also say that life without the Christian influence is flat.
It sure does bother me a great deal to see that those who called themselves, believers or Christians, seem to have so little influence upon the world in general. It seems that we are more excited about our labels and buildings than impacting and influencing our society. There is no simple answer, but it must not be forgotten that salt will do NO GOOD huddling in the shaker. And, it seems to me that a great many believers are trapped inside religious structures or as some have called them, “holy huddles”. All we seem to do is huddle, call plays, but never get on the field to execute the plays. In our holy huddles we hold services rather than rendering them. We seem more intent on carrying on religious exercises while the world is tracking more and more to evil and souls are dying without Jesus Christ right at our doorstep.
In his book, “New Light for the Gospels”, Clifford A. Wilson says it was a Jewish tradition that when salt became unfit for use on sacrifices, it was sprinkled on the temple steps so that priest would not slip during rainy weather. Barclay makes mention of that unfit salt was thrown on the roadways.
Jesus does not say, “if the salt has lost its strength, I shall have to try something else”. We are it. There is NOTHING ELSE. It is you and me or nothing. If we fail, Jesus questions, “with what shall the earth be salted”? The answer is that it will not be. We are the last divine thrust into the world to influence, purify, and preserve our world. Jesus was the Son of God made flesh, we are flesh made children of God.
“you are the salt of the earth”
There is no plan “B”.
Again I am thankful to W. Carl Ketcherside for shaping my thoughts on this text from Matthew 5:13. Your Bible Boost for today.
I am praying for you

PRAISE GOD! Thank you to all Law Enforcement Agencies!

We give thanks for those standing in the gap for God against all sorts of wicked drugs! ABQ JOURNAL REPORT

Saturday Morning Update:

Pray for Albuquerque….for many life does not mean anything……so many minds are controlled by Satan.

Last night Sharon and I went for a little drive……we were sharing how beautiful Albuquerque is, the views, the Sandias……but the heart and soul of the city is very sick……so very tragic……man is destroying God’s wonderful creation, man is killing man, babies are bring aborted……we weep……

We have a war going on in Albuquerque, …..Spiritual Warfare

We must commit to prayer those who reject God’s salvation and realize that each person will be held accountable when they stand before the Lord someday. God longs for all people to come to repentance (1 Timothy 2:4), but salvation is on God’s terms and not ours.

God’s Word call’s the mind of the natural man “blinded” Read 2 Cor. 4:4 The scriptures also call’s the mind of the natural man, “depraved” Romans 1:28, “corrupt” 1 Tim 6:5, “unspiritual” Col 12:18

The natural mind thinks from a humanistic, sin debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs it’s thoughts. The sinful mind is under the control of Satan and can never please God because it concentrates on things of the world and not things of the Spirit. The natural mind walks the path of hopelessness and self-destruction.

Last nights shootings occurred just eight days after five people were fatally shot and six others wounded in three separate incidents across the Duke City on Sept. 12.

The latest round of shootings began last night near the University of New Mexico campus.

Another Deadly Night in Albuquerque

Drugs??? There is a HUGE PUSH to make pot legal in New Mexico! We pray against that!

The Governor also will be pushing her pro-abortion bill in the 20220 session! We pray against this!!!

I posted this earlier today:

New Mexico! How much longer will we abort God’s Babies? How much longer will we abuse God’s Children? This is not a warning, but a promise from JESUS: Jesus warned in Matthew 18:6

“But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.”

How much longer we will abort God’s babies? How much longer?
So know this: When we assault the gates of hell, the gospel wins (Matthew 16:18). When the light shines in the darkness, the light wins (John 1:5).

I wrote this in July of 2019:

The 2020 New Mexico legislative session will make the 2019 session look like a Church picnic! The Governor has called out the Democrats who voted against the abortion Bill, HB-51, she scolded them, she has a full push on to allow abortions up to full term, no restrictions, a New York type of law. The Governor also wants to legalize pot.

Here is the latest update on Governor Lujan Grisham’s push to legalize pot! KOB TV UPDATE

As I have said legalizing pot is all we need in this state! Just ask Denver! We have enough of a problem with drunk driving in this state! So, we are going to have pot heads driving and killing?

From Dr. Jim Denison:

Our post-Christian, secular culture knows little of choosing God’s way over our way. As a result, those who decide to live for eternity today are “children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life” (Philippians 2:15–16).

Recall C. S. Lewis’s famous observation: “Aim at Heaven and you will get Earth ‘thrown in’: aim at Earth and you will get neither.”

For which will you aim today?

Titus 2:7

Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity,

1 Timothy 4:12

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

1 Corinthians 11:1

Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.

What we do need is leaders in this state to stop their drinking and behaving badly and thinking they are above the law! Remember Governor Martinez’s pizza party????? State Senator Richard Martinez is one who appears to think he is above the law after being arrested for drunk driving! We need role models!

Video of Senator Richard Martinez pleading with Police

This makes the push to legalize marijuana by the Governor even more serious, we cannot have pot heads stoned to the hills driving in this state, drunk driving is enough of a big problem in New Mexico! Another thing that bothers me greatly is that Martinez seems not to care about the people injured in the accident! ENOUGH NEW MEXICO! If you want to be a great state…act like one!

We are praying for Senator Martinez and those involved in the accident. Lord we pray for healing for all! In Jesus name, Amen!

This is a post I did a year ago, June 2018……..

I wanted to share this with you today, it is a guest column in the ABQ Journal this morning. I am very concerned where this movement of POT is going,”The Country is going to Pot”. In Colorado “Gas and Grass” stores have opened up in communities.

Read the guest column in the ABQ Journal Here ABQ Journal Report

Opinion: Pot is dangerous, not funny — a doctor tells us why
Fox News

No matter how much fun using marijuana looks like on TV or how many people tell you it’s harmless, remember one thing: unless you have certain medical conditions where the drug may be beneficial, you are better off without it. Read the full story

We all should be concerned where our Country is going……it is headed in the wrong direction….so much division, so much anger, moving away from Biblical principles. Our only true HOPE is in JESUS, not politics. Politics just keeps dividing the nation.

JESUS is our only hope.

Pray for America.

So many need JESUS, so many are looking in all the wrong places to find HOPE, JOY and PEACE.

True HOPE, JOY and PEACE are not found in drugs or politics, yes, if your not careful politics will be like a drug to you, you will lose focus on God.
