Thought of the day:

An ungodly man digs up evil, And it is on his lips like a burning fire. A perverse man sows strife, And a whisperer separates the best of friends. A violent man entices his neighbor, And leads him in a way that is not good. He winks his eye to devise perverse things; He purses his lips and brings about evil. Proverbs 16:27-30 NKJV

One of the biggest causes of division for anyone, whether it be relationships, ministry, businesses, etc., is when people try to look for the wrongs on others. It is easy to look at others faults because, we are 1. Conditioned to do so from our old life and 2. We have faults of our own and try to deflect others from seeing them by pointing out others faults. Could it be why Jesus said, ““Judge  not, that you be not judged. For with what  judgment you judge, you will be judged;  and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.” Matthew 7:1-2 NKJV?

When we pursue a Relationship with Christ, we are told to Love others starting with God First, John 13:34-35. In loving others, yes, we may say or point out things to help keep them accountable, it should be be cause we love them and want to help them grow, 1 Thessalonians 5:11, not to cover our flaws. This means that we need to see where they flourish at and encourage them to continue in those areas, where it brings them closer to Christ. This means that we need to learn at looking for the good instead of the evil, or another way to put it, being “sin sniffers”.

Let’s ask Our Lord to Help is grow in the area of encouragement and not tearing down, let His Love Flow through us.

If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.
It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it. We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already.
If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know. Maybe today you are struggling with something. Maybe you may have found yourself not as close to The Lord as you thought. We would like to help you in this through prayer and guidance.
