Spiritual Invasion

“If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”                                       (2 Chronicles 7:14)

The powers of Communism were in a move to take over Mexico many years ago.   There were Communists within the nation’s cabinet helping to force the move.   Atheism was the foundation of their educational institutions.   Radio airwaves were filled with anti-God, brainwashing tactics every night. Their poison was being pumped into homes causing a time of great fear among the people.

It was at a point of extreme desperation, a group of Christian pastors and other church leaders committed to meet each morning at 6:30 to pray together in a unified attempt to defeat the enemy of God and man.   They met in battle for months seeking to be rescued from the One True God.

At one they found themselves in an all out conflict with the powers of darkness.   They knew instinctively that they were not battling against flesh and blood, but with principalities and powers.

Many denominations were represented unified in this common cause to seek the face and power of their righteous God.   Through brokenness, tears, and robust cries toward heaven, they ‘Prayed On’ for six months.

Thousands of prayers later, a pastor appeared arriving late with a newspaper waving excitedly.   The paper’s headline reported that Mexico’s president had dismissed all the Communists from government positions of influence.   God had heard!   God had turned a nation around by the power of united prayer!

Beloved, if only we had in America some who believed in united prayer!   If only the pastors of all who call on the Name above every name, Jesus Christ, would believe and do such a thing as this great example of  humility and spiritual invasion, from our neighbors to the south! America, we were more than we now have become! Church, “Awake, thou that sleepeth.”   Come alive!   Come together!   Unite in aggressive, fervent, invasive prayer!   Pray On!
