AIR QUALITY FORECAST

Particulate levels are increasing again late this afternoon as smoke from the Triple Nickle Fire returns to Albuquerque. Some light haziness may continue through this evening and much of Thursday, however most of the smoke is expected to remain aloft.

Particulate levels are not expected to reach a level that would warrant a health alert tonight or Thursday. However, high humidity levels may once again make it appear worse than it really is Thursday morning. The Environmental Health Department will continue to monitor this situation and issue updated statements as needed.
