It’s Maddox Monday…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. This morning I have been up for a bit with my grandson Maddox. Somehow he decided he should beat the sunrise this morning. Those big blue eyes could convince you that everything in the world should be put on hold until further notice. Oh, the joy of children. Today let’s pray for children all across this globe. Let’s pray that God himself would protect them, expose evil and they would learn about faith in Jesus at a young age. Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for the innocence of children. We pray today that you would put a hedge of protection around them. Father, expose evil at every level. We pray parents would teach them about Jesus at a young age. May they learn to see you in their day.
Father, you said to train a child up in the way they should go and when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6) Father thank you for that promise. That promise alone should make many of us parents sleep better at night.
Father, we pray the joy and the light of children would never be snuffed out. You tell us in Luke 17:2 It would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble. Thank you for being a God of justice. Nothing escapes your watchful eye. The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good. (Proverbs 15:3)
Father, let the joy of children bubble up all across this globe today. Children are an inheritance from you. (Psalm 127:3) Amen
