You Are What You Believe   By Jeanne Theriault

Our faith is based on our words of confession. Our words will either bring discouragement or defeat into our lives. It is what we confess with our lips that will dominate our hearts.

It is not what you feel, or what you see, it is who you know

Hebrews 3:6 Christ is faithful as a Son over God’s house. And we are his house, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast.

God always stay true to his word and promises. It is up to us to take his word and speak it out over our lives and situations. He is faithful to his promises .

Hebrews 4:14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.

So our words should be professing God’s word, our words of confession will activate God’s power into our lives .

If you want peace : John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you

If you need healing: Exodus 15:26 I am the Lord who heals you

You need strength: Nehemiah 8:10  The joy of the Lord is my strength

If you need directions: Isaiah 48:17 I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you who directs you in the way you should go

He is your provider: Philippians 4:19 My God will meet all my needs according to  his glorious riches in Christ Jesus

Trusting in God: Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast because he trust in you.

God will help you: Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield my heart trusts in him and I am helped.

God wants us to have confidence in him: 1 John 5:14 This is the confidence I have in approaching God, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. 15 and if we know that he hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have what we asked of him.

Romans 10:10 For it is with our heart that you believe and we are justified, and it is with our mouth that you confess and are saved.

The word confess is a positive meaning in scripture, it affirms God’s word and testifies to his truth. We have been instructed to hold fast to our confession.

Confessing is saying what God has said in his word, It is being in agreement with his word. Hold fast is saying what God is saying over and over until His Word is fully manifested in our life.Regardless how things appear, take your stand, make your confession of faith and hold fast in the face of the impossibilities.

Faith doesn’t ask for possible things, faith is demanding the impossible. It is God who is at work with you and for you.

Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

Stop confessing doubt, confess your faith say the things that God says about you. Let it change the way you think and it will change the way you live. You are what you believe.

Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinks in his heart, so he is
