Who Gives And Takes Away?

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. This morning I was reading the Sermon on the Mount once again from Matthew 5. It is rich, really rich. A friend and I was discussing it yesterday. Even in persecution, Jesus is worthy of our praise. The Word of God tells us: Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you that you look at the heart of every person. 1 Samuel 16:7 tells us not to consider appearance or height. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

Father, thank you that there is no good thing you will withhold from those that do what is right. (Psalm 84:11) Father, thank you that you rightly judge every motive, every thought and every heart. Your love is never ending and ever lasting.

Father, every good gift is from you. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. (James 1:17) Thank you for all the gifts you bestow upon us. We are a blessed people-glory to your name. Amen!

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. His blessings never end…
