Thought of the day:

I tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit, that I have great sorrow and continual grief in my heart. Reference Romans 9:1-2 NKJV

Paul was talking about those he was close to here, that had not received Christ. He, as we know, had a tremendous transformation. He went from persecuting Believers to being persecuted himself, because of his Relationship with Christ. His testimony changed because of what Christ did in his life.

Here, he points out that there were/are people who reject Jesus. They just refused or maybe didn’t get what Jesus wants to do in our lives. Because of the love Paul had, which was given to him by Jesus, he grieved that they would reject Jesus Transforming Love. In a sense, Paul was saying he just didn’t get why they would turn down what Jesus gave us.

As we grow with Jesus, this is the kind of thing that should be happening in our lives. It is not because we’re obligated, it is because Jesus Truly fills us with His Love through The Holy Spirit. If we are doing things because of obligation, then are we truly growing in Jesus?

What reaction do you have when you see others reject Jesus? Are you praying for them or are you just moving on?

If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.
It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it. We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already.
If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know. Maybe today you are struggling with something. Maybe you may have found yourself not as close to The Lord as you thought. We would like to help you in this through prayer and guidance.
