Such a loving and precious post for Mother’s Day by Connie Keyohara! Happy Mother’s Day to you Sister!!!

“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come” Proverbs 31:25

“Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.” Proverbs 31:28-29

Your Mom: the first person you ever met, the best advice giver, the best counselor, the best prayer warrior.

I think often times we Don’t fully appreciate our Moms until we’re older. There is so much that goes unseen, she works around the clock, she never stops praying for you and she will drop everything to be with you.

Her love is not conditionally based on the behavior of her children, but is given without reservation. By her example, she demonstrates to her children how they too can love at all times.

A mother who is close to God will bring her children close to God as well. She will teach them how to depend on God first and she will teach them how to cast their cares on him. The Bible tells us to train up a child in the way they should go, and when they are old they will not depart.

So as you celebrate Mother’s Day remember that just because you go to bed and sleep, doesn’t mean that she’s not already thinking about tomorrow and I’m certain she already has you covered in prayer for tomorrow.

Happy Mother’s Day to those moms who made the difficult choice when they couldn’t care for their child, but loved them so much they allowed someone else to raise that precious child. May God bless you and keep you may his face shine upon you!

“When you look into your mother’s eyes, you know that is the purest love you can find on this earth.”

– Mitch Albom

Happy Mother’s Day,

Connie
