We are so very blessed to bring you this Easter message from Connie Keyohara! God Bless you Connie!

“Darkness fell, His friends scattered, hope seemed lost – But heaven just started counting to three.” ~Bob Goff.

The scene was that out of a movie: Picture Old Golgotha around AD 30-36. The Crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth had just taken place. Darkness filled the earth and the earth shook and trembled. His body was given to Joseph of Arimathea who prepared it for burial and wrapped it in linen. The body was placed in the tomb. Surrounded by guards.

As dawn approached, Mary Magdelene and the other Mary made their way to the tomb. And behold, a severe earthquake had occurred, an Angel of the Lord had appeared from heaven and rolled the stone away and sat upon it. The guards shook in terror. And this, my friends, would be the greatest event in history!

You see, when Christ arose he came out of the grave with all power and glory! His resurrection proved He was who he had claimed to be all along. It brought freedom and salvation! He brought hope.

He arose a victor from the dark domain and that makes Christ’s death and resurrection the foundation and premise of Christianity, the Cornerstone of all our hopes and our joy… Remove this, and all our hopes for eternity vanish at once!

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”  – John 11:25-26

The Resurrection of Christ assures us of a few things:

1.) It’s evidence that Jesus is in fact the Son of God.

2.) It’s the reason we have forgiveness of sins.

3.) It’s a Constant reminder that Christ Won the Victory over death.

“And Jesus Christ our Lord was shown to be the Son of God when God powerfully raised him from the dead by means of the Holy Spirit.” Rom. 1:4

Now that is a reason to celebrate!

Happy Easter my friends!
