Albuquerque City Departments seeing the biggest increase in general fund appropriation increases over 2019 would be the Police Department, $16.5 million, the Fire and Rescue at $16.5 million and Family and Community Services at $7.4 million.
I cannot argue with Mayor Tim Keller’s budget, Sharon and I are taxpayers and our top focus is Police and Fire. We are thankful that Mayor Keller appointed Chief of Police Mike Geier to lead APD, the best move by the Mayor! Crime is headed down in the City!
