In Christ, we can say,"I am able, so I will."Thank you God, CREATOR of the Universe and FATHER to all who will believe in the Name of Jesus, Thank you. May I show COMPASSION in EVERYTHING I do ... in word or deed; and may it come from the grateful heart part of me that remembers what Jesus has done for me.I hope this is a blessing to your day.The Bible says, think on these things for a reason ... God wants us to be happy and the key is in our meditation, actions and obedience to God; that is through and by Jesus name. When we receive this, we will never be the same. The JOY that rises up with in our spirit will overwhelm our emotions that  can & try to keep us tied ...If you are struggling doing something you know you must do?How long do you want it to last? And whatsoever you do in word or deed do all in the name of the LORD JESUS, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.

Good morning dear Friend in Jesus,

As a “Jump-Starter” message of Thanksgiving,

Thank you God for loving us SO much that you gave us your Only Begotten Son.

Thank you Jesus for saying, I will.  And, Thank You Jesus, you did!

Thank you God for Creating this world for us to enjoy.

Thank you God for the Sky, the Wind and the Rain.  And, in spite of the many dangers in this world, thank you God that it is by your very hand that we have this planet we call earth to live on, explore and discover things about your Great Creation!  Thank you for the flowers – in spite of the pollen, we say thank you for the flowers.  They bring us great joy.  This joy is of YOU, God, Thank you our Father, through and by Jesus we have this great JOY  in Jesus living inside of us when we believe – unconditionally.

Friends, if you look at the Nature that is raw in this world, is it anything less than a miracle that the earth and the sun are at the perfect distance from each other that we are both warm, but not burned up!?  How about the rain that floods, the meteors and comets that shoot through the air; and ALTHOUGH do at times break through to crash into the very soil we walk on … Is it any wonder that God’s hand is on us -whether you believe yet or not, that we are gathered together here @ FGGAM talking about how Great God is?

I have been close to lightening strikes, but not once struck by lightening.  Lava bubbles under the earth, oceans rage with power, still, people survive.  Scorpions and snakes have poison that is deadly.  Alligators lurk in the marsh.  But all the time, God’s hand is protecting us from dangers we don’t even think about; and yet we survive!

Yes, there is a conversation here; great sadness does fill my heart for the things people go through, but & and God DOES love you.  Sometimes bad things happen to good people.  STILL< Jesus died for you to come into a relationship with God as your Father, Today and forevermore.

Bad things happened to Jesus too – Jesus was executed, was buried, but HE ROSE AGAIN by the same power of God that WAS HIS PURPOSE for us to have the Spirit of the Living God come alive in us.   And, there is more than you, me, or any human can humanly conceive in limited human understanding.

God is God either way, but there is one way to God the Father; and His Name is Jesus.

The mere fact that we survived anything in this world is proof that God has not given up on the world to know HIM.  God knows what is going on.  Again, don’t go right or left, stick with me on this; I know there is another conversation here.  But Romans will shed some light to begin to see how God is working all things together for the good to them that love HIM; according to the purpose in which we are called … to be transformed into the image of God’s Son, Jesus. Ref:  Romans 8:29-29.

Why? because Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.  Many times we just think and feel, but God has given us a Spirit (GOD OFFERS WHOSOEVER WILL BELIEVE HIS SPIRIT) WHOM, the Mind of Christ, goes BEYOND our feelings and thoughts.

I pray that you seek to go beyond this devotion to meet Jesus.  For when you receive this, you will never be the same.

Patience in Persecution
6 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power, love, and self-control. 8 So do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, or of me, His prisoner. Instead, join me in suffering for the gospel by the power of God.…(2 Timothy 1:7)

And, God loves you – unconditionally.  Back in the Bible times, we can read about Jonah.  Why did he get swallowed up by a big fish?  How grateful was he when God caused the fish to spit him up on dry land?

“And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land (Jonah 2:10).”

Same God!

How much faster did Jonah make that trip with a GRATEFUL HEART? even IF he hadn’t tried to flee?

Jonah is the central character in the Book of Jonah, in which God commands him to go to the city of Nineveh to prophesy against it “for their great wickedness is come up before me,” but Jonah instead attempts to flee from “the presence of the Lord” by going to Jaffa (sometimes transliterated as Joppa or Joppe), and …

Jonah’s Prayer
9 But I, with the voice of thanksgiving, will sacrifice to You. I will fulfill what I have vowed. Salvation is from the LORD!” 10 And the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

I pray this devotion is a blessing to you Today.  Of our many words and deeds, how many will honor God, through and by Jesus?  How might the Word of God effect your day Today?

Love in Christ, Karen

Daily Devotion to God’s Holy Word.

How Many Words? How Many Deeds? By Karen Rowe

Your alarm clock goes off. You don’t doubt what time it is. Yet, you are tired. You believe, like you believe Jesus is the Way, the Truth & The Life, you believe the alarm is telling the truth. BUT / YET there is that little button called a snooze that I personally used twice this morning. And, I knew what I was doing.

I was delaying the reality; like this Verse commands us who believe to do…in word or deed.

The Lord will speak right to our heart just like an alarm clock will wake us up! We will / should seek to know the right thing to do that pleases God. Giving thanks to God makes dying to self easier, because of the LIFE that lives in us increases as we abide in God & God in us.

Jesus will tell us what to do & then we may want to negotiate with Jesus and tell Him how we feel?

Lord, I hear You, “But the I” gets in the way? Go beyond how you feel to experience …

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
Psalms 100:4 KJV

How obedient are we to GOD? IN word or deed? Is what I am speaking in the Name of Jesus? Am I doing this in the Name of Jesus? WE CAN THANK God for the time we had to fill up our gas tank yesterday that we have gas today.

Are we quick to GRATEFULLY respond by Jesus Name obedient to God by His Voice that we hear?

Or, in this world, is our mind willing to hit the snooze button and delay what God wants us to do, based on our thoughts / or according to how we feel?

Jesus whispered to me to teach like this, the alarm is like when we are called to believe. Jesus woke us up & we come to know and believe in the love God has for us!

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8‭-‬9 KJV).”

Salvation is obedience to His Voice who leads us & His Rod that keeps us from going astray. God gives us rules (NOT to make God happy), rather that we will be happy!

Today, if you hit that snooze or get up; know God is God …

And whatsoever ye do IN word OR deed, DO ALL IN the name of the Lord Jesus, GIVING thanks TO God and the Father BY him.
Colossians 3:17 KJV

In Christ, we can say,
“I am able, so I will.”
Thank you God, CREATOR of the Universe and FATHER to all who will believe in the Name of Jesus, Thank you. May I show COMPASSION in EVERYTHING I do … in word or deed; and may it come from the grateful heart part of me that remembers what Jesus has done for me.
I hope this is a blessing to your day.
The Bible says, think on these things for a reason … God wants us to be happy and the key is in our meditation, actions and obedience to God; that is through and by Jesus name.
When we receive this, we will never be the same.
The JOY that rises up with in our spirit will overwhelm our emotions that  can & try to keep us tied …
If you are struggling doing something you know you must do?
How long do you want it to last?
And whatsoever you do in word or deed do all in the name of the LORD JESUS, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.

Philippians 4:6-9 King James Version (KJV)

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Love in Christ,

Meet Karen: Hi, I am blessed, by God's good grace and because I know Jesus, I am blessed. I choose to be blessed, because I have a choice set before me and I refuse to look down. I trust God and I know and believe in the love God has for us. I have overcome difficulties; and I am blessed by the grace of God alone. If I have written about it, then I have felt the pain of it in some way, and to some degree. Did you know that Jesus has felt your pain? This is why I write. By God's grace I can identify; and tell you honestly, yes there is hope in anything and everything that you are facing today! Jesus is our Hope! He is the Truth, the Way and the Life. I am married a wonderful man, Robert Rowe; I love my husband and he loves me; and we have been married for 28 years. Together, we have been blessed with a wonderful daughter, named Amanda who is college now; and a wonderful son, named Daniel who is growing up well and soon to graduate elementary school. We work together and by God's grace we run our own business called PSI. We have a pastor over our ministry and over our business and also we depend on him for advise in our family. We have 2 dogs, 4 horses, 2 cats and love to spend time outdoors by the water and by campfires ... that is it seems when we can find time away from life's busy schedule. I love to write because it helps me learn more about God. And, I am driven by a passion from a love that God has put in my heart to share from my experiences and struggles, as I gain understanding in God’s Word to know how effective and powerful God is over our every situation! I share with you so you can know that you are not alone in your struggles. The same God who helps me and my family, is your help and shield as well! Life is not always easy, but it is possible –I like to share the difference that following Jesus makes in my life. And, I love to share God's patience and mercy and love that is with me! I am not perfect, but am experiencing God sanctify me through and through with every mistake I make; and yes, overcome in Christ! Life is not just about the successes; life on this earth is also about the troubles we overcome to discover what God has hidden in our faith to find! Troubles are more a challenge to grow in our faith ... It is not easy, but in the end the grace of God we discover is worth experiencing God in the midst. By Grace, I have discovered Jesus is Peace and He is my Joy and Wisdom from Heaven. God is our Provider and Healer and Creator, who is our help and shield over all things. By grace, I have experienced a nearness to God through my faith in His Son! We are well forgiven by God; and well blessed when we know and believe the love that God has for us. To say, "all is well with my soul" is a powerful knowledge to understand and experience. I sense God's desire for you to know His love for you and how deep His love for you is that He has SO loved you; God gave you His Son. God loves you right now just as you are! There is so much to learn! I believe that as we learn from God, we are God’s gift to each other. It is all God’s story –and for His glory; and God has SO loved us. I love to paint the vision that God has given me about a Father’s love –that God wants you to dream again and visualize His love for you! In God’s eyes, there’s more to life than we see; and in a world that sometimes misrepresents and misunderstands God and love; God wants you to have the courage to dream His dream and see His vision of a Father’s love for you! Many years ago, I prayed to God, “How can I tell a million people what I know about Your Son?” God showed me I had a gift of a ministry about God's Love; and He called it Hope in Today! I write to please God and I write to encourage you; and I write to spend quiet time with God. All because of this love that God has first shown me! I need Jesus –and my life is about my relationship with God. And, every blessing begins with Him! Love in Christ, Karen Rowe, Director Hope in Today Ministries, Inc.
