This morning we have another awesome post from Sister Connie! God Bless you and yours Connie!

Connie Keyohara

“Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day.” (Psalm 25:5)

I believe the reason God likes to make us wait is not only to strengthen our faith in Him and to properly prepare us for what He is making us wait for, but to also develop the fruit of patience in us. God’s people have always be a waiting people and that’s alright!

When I was a child I remember waiting for my birthday, months in advance. It felt like it took forever to come around. During that time of waiting It was sometimes torture, but on that special day it was worth the wait.

We wait for so many things in our life time and I believe it’s God’s teaching moments or as I like to call them “LFL” lessons for life.

God’s goodness is promised for those who wait on Him. Regardless of how hopeless things appear. “God is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to his power at work within us” (Ephesians 3:20.) When we wait for him, He will never disappoint. So, when He has you wait, you need to trust that He has a good reason for it.

But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40: 31)

Be Blessed as you wait,

Connie
