The federal budget deficit ballooned rapidly in the first four months of the fiscal year amid falling tax revenue and higher spending, the Treasury Department said.

It is apparent that the Republicans and Democrats do not care about America bleeding red ink! What ever happened to the Republican Party? What ever happened to “deficit hawks” I should not use that old term I guess, as nobody seems to know what it means. Shame on the Republicans and Democrats.
The federal government recorded a budget surplus in January. But so far this budget year, the total deficit is 77 percent higher than the same period a year ago.
