Will You Return To The Lord?

“Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”

So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm. Who knows if He will turn and relent, And leave a blessing behind Him— A grain offering and a drink offering For the Lord your God? Joel 2:12-14 (NKJV)

Are you playing roulette with you Salvation? Are you saying that you follow The Lord but are still stuck in your sins?

God wants our full Devotion. He doesn’t want us to play around. If we do continue to play the field, so to speak, we won’t be able to see how He Works in our lives.

Maybe, You’re still hanging around those from your past thinking you’ll change them. Maybe you’re making excuses of why you still continue to do things that dishonor God.

Does this sound familiar: “I’m a work in progress”? Do you realize that’s an excuse to continue in sin?

When God comes into our lives, He wants to do a new work in our lives. He wants to bring change in our lives so that we no longer are His enemies. He wants to call us His Family.

In order for this to happen, we need to flee from sin and embrace Righteousness. We need to surrender our complete will to Him so He can mold us.

What are you going to do with this knowledge today, continue in sin and make excuses or Trust in The Almighty Father and allow Him to make changes in your life?

If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.

It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.

We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.

Maybe today you are struggling with something. Maybe you may have found yourself not as close to The Lord as you thought. We would like to help you in this through prayer and guidance.
