God is eternal. In addition, He is everywhere present at once. Do not simply read these words, pause and allow this to sink deeply in your mind.
Now, time, as we know it, has absolutely no affect on Him. Does this not also imply that God has no yesterdays, neither tomorrow, only ‘right now’? Moreover, does this not mean that His ‘right now’ encompasses our yesterdays, today, and tomorrows? So, His ‘right now’ is bigger than your ‘right now’.
Our world is truly a frightening place, especially to those who do not have their faith, trust, and peace firmly rooted in Christ Jesus. Here in America, many of our leaders, subtly led by the evil one, Satan himself, are losing all sight of the Holy Creator God, and the value of human life as God has given. Our sexuality grossly distorted from the intended higher design of male and female; man and woman united in a marriage of life-long commitment. Mature adults, whom they should trust, endanger their children before birth and after. If we should allow our conceived babies to avoid murder in the womb of their mommy, we place them at risk of mental confusion at the least in the area of gender identification. This evil indoctrination begins at an early age by institutions having no right to interfere with parental training and love.
It is bad enough that many Americans have grown in their hatred of God, but hate itself has become a political platform, which endangers the very life of America. Groups of every description have formed accusing others of hate while hating the very ones they accuse. These angry groups include a flavoring of everyone found inside the imaginary borders of this once great nation. There are protesting groups of men, women, young girls and boys, white, black, brown, yellow, legal citizens, illegal immigrants, political and non-political, gangs, media, and every known religious group. Hate abounds! Violence is amuck! Everyone spouts answers, and all answers are wrong!
There is only one truth. There is only one answer, which will fix the state of our Union. The answer is God, only God. God is the only solution to our growing prideful ignorance of hate. History, by the way, has proven the only way of change for an evil society is a powerful awakening by the Holy Spirit of God bringing a conviction of sin and righteousness leading to an immediate brokenness and repentance.
Revival! Spiritual Awakening! Church, this is the only hope for America; this is the way!
I have studied historical revivals and awakenings since the middle ‘80’s. All of the recorded happenings of this sort have their beginnings in prayer. The Spirit of God moved upon individuals or groups of individuals to pray for a known need for revival in the places where their lives and hearts melded with God and the people. These people gave themselves to the purpose of bringing God in full power and influence upon the people, cities, nations where evil abounded. These praying warriors spent hours, days, weeks, months, years, praying for the Spirit to fall while having no real idea what was in store.
I have been praying, teaching, preaching, and encouraging revival since 1992. I long for revival. At the same time, I have somewhat of a fear of revival, but the fear that it will not come scares me more greatly.
I have taught and encouraged individuals and churches to become more involved in prayer, resulting in a deeper, personal, more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. In this endeavor, I utilize the forms of seminars and prayer events of every description, and I am always hopeful that God will use my little to bring about His greatness. At the same time, I am aware one cannot schedule God, or revival. Because we schedule a revival on the church calendar does not mean revival will happen. Oh, God may touch several individuals to certain degrees, but the revival I speak of, no one remains untouched by God’s weight of holiness and conviction. Only God brings revival. Only God calls one in humble prayer until revival comes. We must have revival or we perish. Could He be calling you, or your church, to pray without ceasing? America needs a Daniel. Is it you He calls? Then, Pray On!
