Hey God, What About The Good Ole Boys Club?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I don’t really want to write about this today, but it doesn’t go away, so here we go. All people are important to God, all people. He does not discriminate. In the church world, men are pretty dominant. I am not a feminist and I believe the Holy Scriptures regarding men. I have sat in services where I saw firsthand the operation of a good ole boys club. As a traveling pastor prophesied over a pastor I knew, I tried hard to keep my finger out of my throat. Why did he do this, was this really from God? It was because he wanted to preach in this man’s church. He puffed him up so big, I thought this marshmallow isn’t going to flatten easy.
As I traveled home that night talking to God all the way, I kept asking him, hey God what are you going to do about the good ole boys club? You rub my back, I rub your back, that shouldn’t be happening in the church world should it God? I continued to press in with the hard questions as I like to talk it out with God Himself. He knows everything and I am just learning.
I had seen another pastor that was in the same service, and I mentioned a few things. He said yes, I know, it’s the good ole boy’s club. The traveling pastor did lay it on quite thick, he said. We better Pray:

Father, thank you that at the foot of the cross we are all equal. Father, would you break up the good ole boys’ club in the church? Burn up everything that is not of you in our lives, oh God. Father, keep us humble, pliable whether male or female.
Father, you said It is written, my house will be called a house of prayer, but you are making it a den of robbers. (Matthew 21:23) Forgive us God for any practice in the church not according to your plan. Revive the church once again, rebuilding lives and making the most important things the most important things.
Father, thank you for transforming us all, for your glory. Amen
