I am so very thankful that Gary Roe has given us permission to post his writings. I try and help people through the grieving process. I grieved so hard when Dad and Mom passed away that I sought counseling. Then after seeing how others grieved, and how the counseling helped me I went to classes so I could become a grief counselor. Always remember that everyone grieves differently.
The grieving process is not discussed in the Church enough!
Thank you Gary for helping us, help others. Gary also says he loves the FGGAM website! PTL!
Pastor Dewey Moede
I expect a lot of myself. When I’m hurting, I tend to expect even more. I add the grief to my life, rather than making room for it. No wonder I get tired, and impatient. Others grow impatient with me too – that I’m not “getting better” quick enough.
Our grieving hearts deserve some space – and a lot of patience.
Are you hard on yourself? Do you find your patience waning? Are others impatient with you and your grief?
I’m honored to have you as a subscriber. Please feel free to contact me. I’m here to help, if I can.
Warmly,
Gary
REMINDER:
Review Raffle Month is Coming to an End!
You can help us reach hurting, grieving hearts. How? By leaving a book review.
If you’ve read any of my books, would you consider leaving a simple, 1-3 sentence review on Amazon and / or Goodreads?
The Review Raffle works like this…
-
Write and leave a review(click on the book you want to review, click “Customer Reviews” under the title, then “Write a Customer Review.”)
-
Respond to this email and let me know what book or books you reviewed.
-
I’ll enter you in the raffle.
Some of you are going to get some free books!
It might seem small, but reviews make a big difference. Thank you for your help!
