Happy Birthday Pastor Leonard Navarre! What a man of God! The picture I posted is from the 40th Anniversary of KKIM Christian Radio! That was in 2012! At the celebration I awarded Pastor Leonard the KKIM Radio ‘Salt and Light Award.’ I also have posted the picture of me and Sharon with Leonard and Diana at the going away party that was held for them at Valley View Christian Church in Edgewood, New Mexico in June of 2016.
Leonard would travel many days from Edgewood, NM to the KKIM Radio studios to help me with News and Views, our 30 min news program. I will never forget his sacrifice he made to help me and the radio station to bring salt and light to the world through our news programming.
Pastor Leonard also did his own ministry program, ‘Your Bible Boost.’ He paid for it out of his own pocket. Those that know Leonard, know that he and his lovely wife Diana are all sold out for God.
Sadly, we here in New Mexico lost Pastor Leonard and Diana to Lubbock, Texas several years ago. They moved to Lubbock to be closer to family.
Recently Pastor Leonard was named ‘Employee of the Year’ at Chick-fil-A in Lubbock, no surprise here! Leonard and Diana still minister to many people. They both lead by example.
I could go and on about this man of God…I will close by saying that Leonard helped me build an accountability team. It really helped me when I was Manager of KKIM, when I became a Associate Pastor of Church of God in Los Lunas, NM and when God called me and Sharon to form FGGAM! I always stress to individuals to have an accountability group. It is awesome to know that you have a group of fellow Brothers and Sisters in Christ praying for you and holding you accountable!
Leonard and Diana helped me and Sharon in so many other ways.
