The Bible tells us that God is Love. This means that He sets the standards for Love. It does not mean that His Love can be influenced like ours. Since He is Love and He sets the standards for it, we should look to Him to see how we are to give Love, Truly.

Lord, Thank You for setting the standards for Love!

You tell us to Love one another, for Love is of You. It is not something from us. Everyone who Loves is born of You and knows You. The only way we can know You is through Jesus. He who does not love does not know You, because You are Love. In this the Love of You was manifested toward us, that You sent Your Only Begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. We have learned to Love You, because You Loved us and sent Your Son to be the Propitiation for our sins. Since You Loved us, we also ought to Love one another. No one has seen You at any time. If we love one another, You Abide in us, and Your Love has been Perfected in us. We know that we abide in You, and You in us, because You have given us of Your Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God Abides in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the Love that You have for us. You are Love, and he who abides in Love Abides in You, and You in him. Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as You are, so are we in this world. There is no fear in Love; but perfect Love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in Love. We Love You because You first Loved us. If someone says, “I Love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not Love his brother whom he has seen, how can he Love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who Loves God must Love his brother also. We continue to learn to Love like You. We ask for forgiveness when we fall short of showing Love. We Praise You Always, In Jesus Name, Amen!

If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.

It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.

We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.

Maybe today you are struggling with something. Maybe you may have found yourself not as close to The Lord as you thought. We would like to help you in this through prayer and guidance.
