God is Sovereign. What does that mean to us?

God’s sovereignty is how He rules His creation. This is what makes Him free to do what He knows is best for us. Though He is in complete control, He has also given us a free will to obey or reject His leading.

So, that means He is in control of what happens for us. He will allow us to make our choice, but, He also allows what happens to us. He is watchful over us as a parent is watchful over their children.

We Thank You Lord for being Sovereign over us.

You are in heaven and do whatever You please. There is nothing that we can do to make You do different. There is nothing that will falter Who, You are. WE are thankful that You are unwavering.

Others have idols that are made from silver and gold, that are the work of men’s hands.
These idols have mouths, but they do not speak, because they are unable to. You however, not only have a mouth, but are able to speak to us. We Thank You for speaking to us when we need direction.

Their idols have eyes, but they do not see. You see all things. We are thankful that You can see what happens.
Their idols have ears, but they do not hear. You hear all of our cries, but You also hear all of our praises. Thank You for listening to us.

Their idols have noses, but they do not smell. You can smell all things. This shows that You are a Living God. We are thankful that You experience these senses too.

Their idols have hands, but they do not handle. You use Your Hands to direct the clouds in the skies and to direct all of creation. You use this to bring us blessings. Thank You for providing blessings to us.

Their idols have feet they have, but they do not walk. You walk among us. As You do so, You are ever watchful. Thank You for being among us

Those who make them are like these idols. Anyone who trusts in them, are like them as well. We are ever so thankful that we can Trust in You, The One Who Truly Loves us.

Amen!

If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.

It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.

We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.

Maybe today you are struggling with something. Maybe you may have found yourself not as close to The Lord as you thought. We would like to help you in this through prayer and guidance.
