What does the cross we are asked to carry look like?
Do you want more of God?
Why would someone want to give up their life to follow Jesus?
These are important questions we best think about.
GIVE UP OUR LIFE?
This is serious!
Where do we even start with these questions?
The Spirit of God is directing me to begin with life. We must 1st find life to have a life to give up!
SO WHAT IS LIFE?
This may cause us to rethink every thing we have ever known or suspected life to be! AND I venture to say, when we receive this, we will never be the same!
Life is received through and by Jesus. How deep.do you want to go? This will rock your world to discover that God made humans in Genesis 1:27. God made man a living soul in Genesis 2:7. God breathed the breath of HIS SPIRIT LIFE in man!
This Spirit life is the life that God said, or you will surely die IF you do what you want anyway. Indeed, knowledge come & life choices began!
Now What? Did God make a mistake? Absolutely not! God had a plan! Jesus arrived on the scene as Created Wisdom whom was with God from the very beginning!
Friends! God planned for you to be born & for Salvation to come to you since before the beginning of time!
Can you Believe God has loved you for this long & loved you in spite of all our sin & mistakes? ~What does John 3:16 & 17 say to you?
THE CROSS WAS FOR ME & THE CROSS IS FOR YOU!
NOW because, “For we have known & believed in THE LOVE God has for us…”
Have you known this love God has for you yet?
Once we come face to face with JESUS, the cross is there for us WITH True LIFE that nothing compares for us on this planet earth but this LIFE God has given us through & by the Name of Jesus!
There is a JOY so great & Peace so wonderful & love so incredible, how can we say no to the cross of intercession?
Then, calling the crowd to join his disciples,
he said,
“If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me.
If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it.
But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it.
Mark 8:34-35 NLT
Final Thoughts …
In Closing, there is so much here, yet the final thought the Spirit of the Lord is impressing on my heart of Jesus to say is this … Forgiveness leaves no room in our heart for revenge / nor ill-thoughts toward that person, because something Miraculous happens in Christ! Grace floods our heart!!! Forgiveness comes in us like a flood of living warm oil that frees a soul to let go of any control that UNforgiveness can have over us, a place Satan can steal our Peace, if we are unWise to what is really going on. The Spirit we allow / LET control our heart is vital to our freedoms in Christ. God will give you a method, if need be to Reconcile Peace between believers. But, as far as unbelievers, they must first come to Christ to understand what forgiveness is all about. Release that forgiveness in the rightful Hand of Jesus, where there is nothing left for us to forgive, because Forgiveness has come for whosoever might believe.
JESUS ALREADY DID IT ALL!
If you don’t know Jesus like this, Come! Come to the ONE who died for your sins, because God desires for you to come home to be with Him! Yes, my friend, there is forgiveness, grace and HOPE! Won’t you receive the Grace Jesus left for you? Peace, Joy, Freedom from sin and when you Receive this, you will never be the same! And, when you Come, STAY! Jesus loves you! We are praying for you; and when you come, please pray for us as well! There is more than what you see in front of you! Look up to the Heaven’s and know God has known you since BEFORE you were even born! God loved you and knew the choices you would make! Jesus loved you, because you needed His Love So … Now, all that is left, is for you to come and receive the Mercy and Grace that God has waiting for you. Believe in your heart that Jesus is Raised from the Dead; and Confess with your mouth, Jesus is your Lord. God will hear you no matter how you say it, because God looks at and knows the value of your heart!
