Daily Prayer

Lord, we submit to You so that we can learn to work together.

We start by presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is our reasonable service. We desire for them to be changed so that they become Holy and Righteous. We seek not to be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind, that we may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Our minds should become more transformed to Your Desire. We want to have our thoughts changed to Your Glory. We are not to think of ourselves more highly than we ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. We no longer want to be living for ourselves. We desire to become more selfless. We have learned from You, that there are many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Knowing this, we found that gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, so that we should use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. We now realize that we need to take these and work together to help others and to share Your Love with them. We ask forgiveness for trying to do this by ourselves.
