Reflecting The Heavenly Kingdom Here, Matthew 6:10

Matthew 6:10 (NKJV): Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.

When Jesus comes to this part of the model prayer, He was invoking us to think about what we should be doing here as His Followers.

We should be reflecting God’s Power here on earth through:

  1. Faith- Growing in His Love
  2. Trust- Believing that He is going to Provide for our needs as well as Protecting us
  3. Obedience- That we would carry out His Love to others as well as looking to become more Righteous.
  4. Fellowship- Coming together often to encourage each other and to grow in The Word together
  5. Discipleship- Teaching others about His Love and about Faith

God wants to Work through us. We are called to do different things to fulfill His Work here on Earth before we graduate unto the next life. We can find the different callings we each have by looking in 1 Corinthians 12, which talks about The Body of Christ, as well as what others might observe in us as we serve The Body of Christ.

How are you reflecting His Kingdom here? Do you need to repent in an area of your life to be able to fulfill your calling? Are you being complacent in your call?

It’s time for us to work together to bring His Glory to others and help them to see how He has Worked in our lives.

We will continue  be looking at the Sermon on The Mount. Although,  we need Jesus to bring us back into A Relationship with God The Father, The Sermon on The Mount deals with Heart Issues which is what we should look at when learning to have that Relationship with God.
If we are to please God, we need to allow The Holy Spirit to set us apart. We need to pursue a sinless life. We are to seek Righteousness. How do we do it? Through prayer, study, fellowship, being willing to be corrected/accountability, discipleship, and service.
 

It starts with Our Relationship with Jesus. If you don’t have a Relationship with Him or you need to rekindle that Relationship, do it now. Call out to Him and seek his Love and Forgiveness. It really is as hard or easy as you make it.

We should look to Him daily to seek a relationship with Him. I want to encourage you to seek Him today, if you haven’t already. If you need help, have questions or need direction in this regard, please, feel free to let me know.
